Bank sizes updated

Bank Maximum : new minimum introduced ->cost of next covert level
Bank size is calculated as it always has been, but 2 new minimum have been introduced.
1) 1,000,000,000,000 ... this is to benefit newer players.
2) the cost of your next covert level.
This is to address 2 concerns: 1) the 'cheaper' bank upgrades that some alliance members got, while others did not. and 2) the perception that only people donating to the site can get higher covert levels due to the inability to keep enoguh funds on hand to pay for the increasingly expensive covert levels.
This update effectively removes the limit to covert levels due to the amount of naq you can bank.
You can now save up for the next covert level!
The old bank maximums still apply - ONLY if one of the 2 min

who thought this was a good idea???

how in any way are bank sizes related to covert levels??? this is the worst update to be released, the only players who benefit from this are those who have big covert levels, and why should they be given an even greater advantage??

Why doesn't jason just increase everyone's motherships according to their covert levels?

Secondly why was this update not discussed?

i think this has many flaws it looking at it all the high covert lvls such as 39 would have a 3 quad bank without a single miner

because people kept complaining that their bank wasn't big enough to store the naq for their next level.

I think it makes things easier for people saving for a big level, but it doesn't make anything possible that wasn't before, I'm sure most people can just store it amongst friends. I don't think making things easier makes the game more fun.

Therefore, not bad, but unnecessary. Well actually kind of makes it bad, but whatever.

Also there is a bug I think, it's supposed to make your bank as big as your next covert level if it wouldn't be on it owns (as I understood) but right not it just adds the cost of your next level to your bank. So everyone's bank went up even if it was big enough for their next level.

My bank size increased, while I was able to afford next covert level anyway...oh well those with 2quad bank size at level 39 must be happy now, room for level 40!
Is it a one time occuring thing or does it happen again when you ascend?

makes about as much sense as basing bank size around someone's ms or strike or defence...

and tbh basing bank size around someone's defence makes far more sense if you think about it...

That already started to be killed with alliance bank upgrades...ie someone who never worked much for bank space being in a group of big bank alliances ended with bigger bank than someone who worked alot on their bank but weren't in a big bank alliance(s).

How do you not understand?

The most expensive thing you need to save for, is your next covert level. So he instituted a minimum based on the cost of your next covert level. That means everyone would be able to store at least the amount their next level costs, as opposed to storing 100tril with this friend, 100tril with that friend, etc.

Is it stupid? Ya.

Like I said though, right now it's wrong. He's still updating it. Everyone's bank went up by their next covert level's cost (and now it just went up again) while the only people whose banks should've increased are those who had a total capacity below their next level's cost. It would increase to the cost.

well i don't understand how this improves the game...it just basically means everyone can store all the naq they ever wanted...why even have a bank space limit?? why not just make it unlimited?
