the ombudsman section code of conduct (the rules)

dear forum users, before posting anything in the ombudsman section please read the following code of conduct for the ombudsman section.

the ombudsman section is a forum place wich has to obey the forum rules but also has his own set of rules. these rules only count in the ombudsman section and count for everyone posting in the section.

first off all to keep the section managable there should only be 1 topic for each issue that needs to be adressed by the ombudsman.

everyone is free to post in the ombudsman section but be aware, you are responsible for everything you post here. this is a place of serious discussion about serious issues therefore no off topic chat will be tolerated. the ombudsman has been granted permission to warn anyone not keeping to the rules in his/her section.

it is expeted of everyone posting in this forum to be respectfull towards other ppl. any insults given in the section will not be tolerated. even words such as 'noob' 'idiot'... have no place in this section. no mather how 'stupid' you find an argument to be it should be respected becausse it is someones opinion.

in this section mods and forum users are equals. this means that moderators will not use any of their powers in this section. this is to insure the users can get a fully neutral treatment. the ombudsman will be the person monotiring this section and will be doing the moderating work there. however there can be situations where an ombudsman is not present when pressing action has to be taken. in that case the ombudsman automatily aproves the actions of a gm. this is however for serious problems and the ombudsman will request an explentation by the GM onto why they preformed the action. the forum admins have the right to mod the ombuds section to the extent they want (since htey are admins) but they won't do it to an extent where valuable information is lost

if you have a complaint then please make it in a calm and civil manner. first of all:

- give the thread a title to wich we can indicate what it's about
- ad what you are complaining about
in case you are apealing a mod warning :
talk to the moderator in question first and see what the mod has to awnser about it. if you are not satisfyed by the reply the moderator gave you can still take it to us.

when you complain to us (after talking with the mod) you ad in yor complaint:
- what happend
- when it happend
- a link to where it happend
- wich mod issued the warning
- what your arguments are in your defence

the ombudsman will alaw forum users to post what they were warned for even if it breacks forum rules. the post should then be put in a spoiler. if it an image we ask you to only post the link and not let the image automaticly display

the ombudsman has rescently been given the power to hand out warnings in his section. but that doesn't mean those warnings annot be apealed with the ombudsman. there are 2 ombudsmen present so if 1 warns you the other will automaticly hndle the complaint and bring it for the admins. the other ombudsman will the act as a user in that case and will defend himself as such.

new updates may ome soon
we thank you for your understanding
