A suggestion to make the forum cleaner

I don't see why everyone has to know. Only the author has to, if the topic was let's say about sports...

If it's about sports then people need to learn to read the forum sections properly.
But there are many threads made in General related to ingame but are better placed elsewhere such as market discussion or game suggestions etc. When these threads are made and people start posting in them and a Mod moves it, doesn't leave a shadow topic and PM's the author then what about the others that posted in it? It's easier for there to be a shadow topic in the forum for a day or two to direct people to the thread, that's what the whole point of a shadow topic is for.

You could also leave a redirecthread for let's say, 24 hours?

That's what we've been saying, that the shadow topics can be removed after a day or so rather than the ones that are still around since Aug 2009.

If the shadow topics are removed after a day or two then there's no issue at all.

To tell you the truth people should be able to figure out that it was moved for a reason. But then again, people don't - and they will make an issue out of nothing and even use it to accuse the mods of being biased or whatever...

So we do it as we do now. Maybe look at the shadows a bit more often, that's no problem. Good suggestion, Kj.
