13th Warrior - Excelent, havent watched that one in ages
The Ghost in the Darkness - Epic scenery, great actors, story & script, one of my all times favorites, also got to love this quote
Mahina: You know, I also have killed a lion.
Angus Starling: How many shots did you need?
Mahina: I used my hands.
Congo - Never seen this one, but since you rate it with these other I will have to watch it
Zulu - Loved this film but watched it to many times, recon I need another 5 years or so before I can watch it again.
If we're going for proper oldies, I'll add
Lawrence of Arabia - Re-Watched this a few months back when I got my 50' widescreen, it needs the big screen to do it justice.
Bladerunner - Another of my all time favorites, but also another one you can only watch once every 5 years of so
2010 - Rare, a sequel I preferred the first film, also re-watched it recently to see how much better it would be on a bigger screen.

Congo is quite good.
Have you read the book from which Bladerunner is based?

Congo
A megalomaniac C.E.O. sends his son into the dangerous African Congo on a quest for a source of diamonds large enough and pure enough to function as powerful laser communications transmitters (or is it laser weapons?). When contact is lost with his son and the team, his sometime daughter- in-law is sent after them. She is a former CIA operative and, accompanied by gee-whiz gadgetry and a few eccentric characters (including a mercenary, a researcher with a talking gorilla, and a a nutty Indiana-Jones-type looking for King Solomon's Mines), sets out to rescue her former fiancé. What they all discover is that often what we most want turns out to be the source of our downfall
As for Zulu, I'm right there with you. Let's not forget the two awesome classics shall we?!

Re: Old Movies
If we're doing kids films then Jungle book is a winner, but another fav from my childhood is Bugsy Malone, sing it with me
We could've been anything that we wanted to be
But don't it make your heart glad
That we decided, a fact we take pride in
We became the best at being bad
I always wanted one of those splurge guns too

One of our favorites is "who framed roger rabbit" (if that is old enough for ya)
"Great holy armies shall be gathered and trained to fight all who embrace evil. In the name of the gods, Browsers shall be changed to carry the internet out amongst the peoples and we will spread Firefox to all the unbelievers. The power of the Firefox will be felt far and wide and the wicked users of IE shall be converted to use the true browsers."
Curious about our color? Feel free to ask...

Indeed, it does. I believe it was when they were doing the satellite phone thingy majigger? I cannot remember correctly the part, but I know it's there.
Yes, I love Hook. It's amazing, and still will be 20 years from now. Same with Jungle Book, that was my favorite version of it. More of an advanced version of the actual film for adults.
