I am curious if the (cinema especially) phenomenon regarding this movie -I only saw about 40min of it, the end, on TV few months ago- also happened here, as I recall some people even wanted a race section for it lol.

Meh. It was entertaining enough. I was amazed by the 3D, imagine back then (lol) it was really new and astonishing. Loved it.

Used to love going to my local cinema as a kid, even worked in one as a teen, but all the local cinemas are gone now and I dont like the multiplex money machines that cram you in like cattle, prevent you taking your own munchies and rip you off at every turn.
