The vampires themselves stated that they did not know the exact reasons for some parts of turning, but the burial was stated as necessary. We're certain that Pam would not have consented to helping dig that grave if it wasn't absolutely necessary.

Probably true that someone completely drained (by non-vampire), given vampire blood and then buried in earth would probably be turned. Not sure if it also needs a vampire beside the candidate during the burial.

We're not so sure that Alcide will go evil, but we'll see...
Damn rollback lost my final episode review too

OK short version

Disappointing, felt like it ended 1/2 way through a season with so much unfinished. I will watch series 5 when it's released but not with the enthusiasm I watched the previous series.

I'll restate my agreement with you.

I still like Marnie more than Maryanne.

Next season should be more werewolves! Oh, and more fighting. :-D

Im going to report you for double posting so nah nah na nah nah :smt019 :smt042

I actually agree Maryanne was just a rubbish excuse for lots of nudity. But at least they killed her, Marnie just needing a hug & a cry for being bullied all her life was lame beyond words.

This ending wasnt just poor because of Marnie, they at least wrapped up that storyline, it was a poor ending because of the dozen of more unfinished subplots.

The forum messed up. Wasn't me. [-(

I agree, they didn't rid the world of Marnie well enough. First, they simply shoot her without her fighting back. Then they simply yank her out of Lafayette and give her a hug and some stern words. Right.

I think they got tired of cliffhangers, so they thought they had to add all the possible plot lines that will be covered in the next season into the final episode. That is my assumption. It works, in that now we want to see how they play out, but it sucked as a finale.

Heh. That is what you get when you drag out a series without sufficient back story.
I do recommend they go more in depth. The books DO have some good storylines left..

Maybe they can tie into Lost Girl.. :-D

we enjoyed the episode... but then, when it at least has some quality, we're not critical... Shows/movies that do not make us turn them off out of boredom are good enough for us...

hopefully fairies, weres and the authority will have more focus next season...

Love the show and though I was disappointed how easily the oldest vampire was dispatched, as well as how easily the oldest fairy too.

The end of the season was amazing and I can't wait for more!
