so you went from one extreme straight to the other. what happened to maybe implementing 60 alliance repairs per day??

thank you once again for showing that you really do bow to the pressure of a certain few and ignore the rest.

but also thank you for reducing the kill rate on supers so i can go and mass some random noobs in GnR range cos you pissed me off about saying how alliance repairs is meant to protect them. :smt047

Why not make the repair only work on defence? Since to me it seems most of the problem is as a result of large strikes being repaired for free

I would say 10 is a bit too low. The suggestion of 5 a turn would probably not have changed much from the I believe 10 a turn before, however 60 a day seems like it would work well or maybe 1 a turn. That way it remains still as a tactic, but can't be used to constantly repair a strike or defense.

Your absolutely right! Lets make it a sniper fest with no-one having anything but attack and covert :roll:

Who said that?You are just like admin jumping from one extreme from another ](*,)

Some time ago updates were released to beta first for testing and maybe later impelemted in main.....this all last bounch of updates seems a little "forced".

...maybe people spending for nice C 39s need to be made to spend some more on other things.....

My leap was only 2x as big as yours ;)
Normal to turtle = 1, turtle, to normal, to sniper fest = 2

I fail to see how that would cause a "turtle" style as you say. All it would do, is stop what most have been complaining about, using 10T attacks to farm 0 defences as all weapon repairs are done for free

Didn't admin decide not to put this sagging update in after all? I thought the updates discussed here are in the other thread.. in the other section, in fact.. ;)

Having said that.. Your turtle<>sniper comparison is interesting, sarevok and beliblisk. A bit extreme, but sounds good.

what did not go in was change to sab, or vacation ...
i could have removed alliance repair and ppt --that was the prime suggestion. I do not go that extreme.
Now - limiting the repair to def... I am liking that as it would prevent the 'farm noobs for free' issue...
so I could up the repairs to 60 a day or such....

any reason not to do this? it is, afterall, meant as an alliance defensive tactic...not a free farm tool.

Yes, this would be far more practical, but the management of such a feature could be difficult. I think it would be advisable to have a counter on the alliance management page somewhere, so that one is able to see how many alliance repairs have been done in that period.

Personally, I think there should be less. Maybe 48 or 2 in every hour.

Also any chance you are pondering the thought of increasing AT(s) generation, from either realm(s) and/or MT(s)? would also promote more massing, at least I think it would.

There should be more AT's around now, since people can't alliance repair when smashing those 0 def's with huge strikes, they "should" become more choosy in who they hit.

revert the game to its old style 1 at's massing mix of sabb and mass covert is just way over powerd is all id say , its completly stupid how overpowerd it is honestly , back in the day youd think a few times before going sabbing someones def out , now it costs just a few mill uu to take down an insane defence...

Wrong. "Back in the day" you'd sab before mass everyday of the week. Then there was a period of several years where 1-hit massing reigned supreme and the game lost all strategy. Now there has been a rebalance. Covert works well as it is now ;)

i would have to somewhat disagree, it works well if you have a covert 36+ and not ascending. In wars you are screwed otherwise, cant really build much, unless you have a crap load of spies to cover your ass.
