Investigating the information from Artys recent post, I have found further evidence of a link between Selina and ytrewq.

Selina and ytrewq are now banned.



I still see no link between Hippyfool and Selina/ytrewq, so no action required for Hippyfool.

If you find any evidence of Hippyfool (or anyone) multying or feeding, post it here so I can take action.

This is just to show the facts as the game cops saw them and I'm afraid to say that we have seen quite a few things Hippyfool has said in this topic and others which unfortunately are contradictory to what myself and Arty have viewed first hand.

This does show a certain extent of dishonesty and asks the question as to why play down the facts if there is nothing more to this than innocent gaming.
I am no longer a game cop but my findings while working with Arty on this subject are as sound and valid today as they were then. Skyfusion and Hippyfool are linked

I will start by making some pointers that Hippyfool is indeed underplaying the matter to quite some level and there are certain things which show a significantly different picture to what is being portrayed.
2) I have never been fed since the galactic logs came in, and I have never got a multi or anyone else to mass someone so that I could win.

Actually there is data that shows this is not true, there are many occasions Hippyfool has been fed since the galactic logs were introduced by Skyfusion included, if this was the case we would not be able to find things like this...

That looks very much like a galactic log to me along with several feeds.

4) I am honestly tempted to make a multi right now to prove that only an idiot would have logged back into an account that everyone thinks is his multi from previous eras just to spy on a few people that I could have spied on myself for an insignificant amount of naq.

The account was not just being used for spying purposes.
The evidence of that can be seen in the data noted in the latter part of this post.
I think it is safe to say to there is no reason that he would not log back in to the Selina/Skyfusion account, after all the multiple account has made it this far and has been given the all clear before, thus Hippyfool could easily just say as he is claiming now ; "it's my friend not a multi".
Again I am no longer in the position but I know Arty is highly capable as a GC and if attempts to break the rules in such a matter do occur from Hippyfool or any other user I have every confidence he would be straight on to them

I mean really, the account spied on some people - why does everyone care? It made no difference to my account. I was putting all my naq into UP for the first 2 months - no amount of spy reports change this.

Again, it was a lot more than just "spying some people" the 17 pages of notes and data I have clogging up my desktop from throughout the wave are a crystal clear reminder of as to how much suspicious activity was taking place, we also have data showing Selina massed practically all those that farmed Hippyfool during the early stages and then being used to benefit his growth during the later.
We were investigating Selina in February due to the ip match with Ytrewq and everybody who was attacked said the same thing to us when we asked them what happened.
They had no idea why they were attacked by Selina and it had just came out the blue, immediately we searched what we could and found the link to Hippyfool, on first inspection there were a few alarm bells ringing to say the least so from that day on we watched them both in order to gather more evidence. The following contains some extracts from a discussion us game cops had that Jack had previously touched upon to further validate the above.
There are a number of incidents that we have monitored and the alleged coincidences/activity from these accounts
basically insults any game cops intelligence and that of every player in the game as they are so blatant about it.

Besides all the other data regarding the massing's here is an example of just a few of many conflicting log in times which we have documented which further proves Selina (Skyfusion) is being used as a second account with the sole purpose of benefiting Hippyfool, no other reason, the
account hardy banks, is logged in to when Hippyfool needs covert reports on players and back at the beginning was
actually massing down rivals and farmers of Hippyfool, 99% of the time Skyfusion has been logged into just before/after
or during that which Hippyfool is :

This was an interesting one and caught our eye -

Take note of these particular log in times.

At this time covert action of Hippyfool = 148,786,870,848 so at most he would be able to spy only 5x that or he would
get ??????
So total power of an account Hippyfool can spy is around 5 times that , Selina on the other hand has the ability to view over 5
trillion covert power as that account has well over 1 trillion power due to extra levels (which is handy as a lot of players had high covert during this era and for sabotage to keep others on the same or lower playing field, which would cost some investment if it was being done with the main account).
When the covert logs are cross referenced,
Nearly all accounts that are being spied on by Selina are those that Hippyfool can't as Hippyfool requires the additional naq for UP as it and his covert levels and techs are insufficient
As mentioned the Selina account doesn't even bank half the time and it is certainly not playing for itself, it is nearly always logged in to mostly around the same times Hippyfool is on, it's plain to see, he is using that account so he does not need to build stats until later as all quantum veterans know this is the most beneficial way to play.

What caught our eye on during the above mentioned times was that we saw the selina account spy on Darklord, Darklord had a good amount of units left out yet Selina does NOT hit for them but what actually happens next is Hippyfool logs straight in and raids them.
The thing Hippyfool does upon login is throw some more units in to his own covert and checks the uu he wishes to raid, this is to ensure dark lord has not built a defense since he last spied him with the Selina account as dark lord is an active user,

you will notice selina stops spying completely at 1:07 when Hippyfool is showing as farming and raiding (see additional logs from April 8th)
These accounts rarely act individualy.

Again on the 8th April there was more concerning activity taking place between the game time hours of 20:00 - 22:00+ -
Hippyfool is farming untill 21.53 -

Zarakai Kenpachi was ranked around page 30 if I recall, Ritalin was ranked a few places below at around page 40 but had a larger covert than what Hippyfool could see with his own low stats.

Selina is shown to log in after and spy Ritalin. this is all the account does and as there are no units or spoils to which would interest Hippyfool, He then continues farming shortly after.

Also take note of the following log in time and the gap in between Hippyfool farming and actions from the skyfusion account -

The Skyfusion account then ceases activity and as seen above Hippyfool continues farming at 21:04.

When the logs are cross referenced you'll see just after Selina's 20:55 log in, a few other accounts are spied on that Hippyfool would have an interest in but could not see as he has not built a good enough covert on his main account to do so, I will add these players that were all spied on are those Hippyfool would directly interpret as rivals for taking a top prize due to large unit/army count...

These are just from a week or two in April, we saw much more over the space of the wave and please take note my self and Arty first started looking into Selina some days prior to February 24th.

As mentioned in my previous post on this topic there were times when Hippyfool would get spooked and have an inkling he could possibly be under observation and back off a little, after the events of the 8th one of these times arose, although, approximately one week later I was having a conversation with Hippyfool and in not so many words I gave the impression that us game cops have no interest in him what so ever.
We were trying our best to keep our investigation as low key as possible so we could better observe.

After initially being rattled by certain players following the 8th and then having an opportunity to speak to me, as I said, approximately 1 week later (14/15th) we see the account, which is now feeling reassured, jump straight back in to the swing of things both feet first.

16th April
Again, Hippyfool spies an account with a decent amount of units left sitting out but unfortunately that account has a covert and defense that would cost a significant number of units to get through, the next move is to use the Skyfusion account to save his own army size by sabbing the defense of the target, the Skyfusion account is used to do this task and then activity stops, the raiding then starts... from the Hippyfool account.

We witnessed this for ourselves so can say with total confidence that that login/sabotage/raid and spy logs were again within a hair of each other, we checked them but unfortunately by the time I had opened the actual pages again to note them all down daily turn change had passed and the times were no longer on display. This all happened though in the region of 17:00 game time 16th April. I hope that at least covers some of the reasons as to why Myself and Arty drew the conclusion that we did and the conclusion that we will continue adhere to in relation to the user

That looks very much like a galactic log to me along with several feeds.

4) I am honestly tempted to make a multi right now to prove that only an idiot would have logged back into an account that everyone thinks is his multi from previous eras just to spy on a few people that I could have spied on myself for an insignificant amount of naq.

The account was not just being used for spying purposes.
The evidence of that can be seen in the data noted in the latter part of this post.
I think it is safe to say to there is no reason that he would not log back in to the Selina/Skyfusion account, after all the multiple account has made it this far and has been given the all clear before, thus Hippyfool could easily just say as he is claiming now ; "it's my friend not a multi".
Again I am no longer in the position but I know Arty is highly capable as a GC and if attempts to break the rules in such a matter do occur from Hippyfool or any other user I have every confidence he would be straight on to them

I mean really, the account spied on some people - why does everyone care? It made no difference to my account. I was putting all my naq into UP for the first 2 months - no amount of spy reports change this.

Again, it was a lot more than just "spying some people" the 17 pages of notes and data I have clogging up my desktop from throughout the wave are a crystal clear reminder of as to how much suspicious activity was taking place, we also have data showing Selina massed practically all those that farmed Hippyfool during the early stages and then being used to benefit his growth during the later.
We were investigating Selina in February due to the ip match with Ytrewq and everybody who was attacked said the same thing to us when we asked them what happened.
They had no idea why they were attacked by Selina and it had just came out the blue, immediately we searched what we could and found the link to Hippyfool, on first inspection there were a few alarm bells ringing to say the least so from that day on we watched them both in order to gather more evidence. The following contains some extracts from a discussion us game cops had that Jack had previously touched upon to further validate the above.
There are a number of incidents that we have monitored and the alleged coincidences/activity from these accounts
basically insults any game cops intelligence and that of every player in the game as they are so blatant about it.

Besides all the other data regarding the massing's here is an example of just a few of many conflicting log in times which we have documented which further proves Selina (Skyfusion) is being used as a second account with the sole purpose of benefiting Hippyfool, no other reason, the
account hardy banks, is logged in to when Hippyfool needs covert reports on players and back at the beginning was
actually massing down rivals and farmers of Hippyfool, 99% of the time Skyfusion has been logged into just before/after
or during that which Hippyfool is :

At this time covert action of Hippyfool = 148,786,870,848 so at most he would be able to spy only 5x that or he would
get ??????
So total power of an account Hippyfool can spy is around 5 times that , Selina on the other hand has the ability to view over 5
trillion covert power as that account has well over 1 trillion power due to extra levels (which is handy as a lot of players had high covert during this era and for sabotage to keep others on the same or lower playing field, which would cost some investment if it was being done with the main account).
When the covert logs are cross referenced,
Nearly all accounts that are being spied on by Selina are those that Hippyfool can't as Hippyfool requires the additional naq for UP as it and his covert levels and techs are insufficient
As mentioned the Selina account doesn't even bank half the time and it is certainly not playing for itself, it is nearly always logged in to mostly around the same times Hippyfool is on, it's plain to see, he is using that account so he does not need to build stats until later as all quantum veterans know this is the most beneficial way to play.

What caught our eye on during the above mentioned times was that we saw the selina account spy on Darklord, Darklord had a good amount of units left out yet Selina does NOT hit for them but what actually happens next is Hippyfool logs straight in and raids them.
The thing Hippyfool does upon login is throw some more units in to his own covert and checks the uu he wishes to raid, this is to ensure dark lord has not built a defense since he last spied him with the Selina account as dark lord is an active user,

you will notice selina stops spying completely at 1:07 when Hippyfool is showing as farming and raiding (see additional logs from April 8th)
These accounts rarely act individualy.

Again on the 8th April there was more concerning activity taking place between the game time hours of 20:00 - 22:00+ -

Zarakai Kenpachi was ranked around page 30 if I recall, Ritalin was ranked a few places below at around page 40 but had a larger covert than what Hippyfool could see with his own low stats.

Selina is shown to log in after and spy Ritalin. this is all the account does and as there are no units or spoils to which would interest Hippyfool, He then continues farming shortly after.

Also take note of the following log in time and the gap in between Hippyfool farming and actions from the skyfusion account -

The Skyfusion account then ceases activity and as seen above Hippyfool continues farming at 21:04.

When the logs are cross referenced you'll see just after Selina's 20:55 log in, a few other accounts are spied on that Hippyfool would have an interest in but could not see as he has not built a good enough covert on his main account to do so, I will add these players that were all spied on are those Hippyfool would directly interpret as rivals for taking a top prize due to large unit/army count...

These are just from a week or two in April, we saw much more over the space of the wave and please take note my self and Arty first started looking into Selina some days prior to February 24th.

As mentioned in my previous post on this topic there were times when Hippyfool would get spooked and have an inkling he could possibly be under observation and back off a little, after the events of the 8th one of these times arose, although, approximately one week later I was having a conversation with Hippyfool and in not so many words I gave the impression that us game cops have no interest in him what so ever.
We were trying our best to keep our investigation as low key as possible so we could better observe.

After initially being rattled by certain players following the 8th and then having an opportunity to speak to me, as I said, approximately 1 week later (14/15th) we see the account, which is now feeling reassured, jump straight back in to the swing of things both feet first.

16th April
Again, Hippyfool spies an account with a decent amount of units left sitting out but unfortunately that account has a covert and defense that would cost a significant number of units to get through, the next move is to use the Skyfusion account to save his own army size by sabbing the defense of the target, the Skyfusion account is used to do this task and then activity stops, the raiding then starts... from the Hippyfool account.

We witnessed this for ourselves so can say with total confidence that that login/sabotage/raid and spy logs were again within a hair of each other, we checked them but unfortunately by the time I had opened the actual pages again to note them all down daily turn change had passed and the times were no longer on display. This all happened though in the region of 17:00 game time 16th April. I hope that at least covers some of the reasons as to why Myself and Arty drew the conclusion that we did and the conclusion that we will continue adhere to in relation to the user

Hardly in this thread. Nearly every post she made has been condescending in some way shape or form, unnecessary in their entirety, and pertain in no way to the topic at hand.

Bare in mind privately owned games or companies are not a democracy. When the administration says NO it means no. You can waste time on the subject if you wish, but you can't force others to waste their valuable time.

Privately owned games also depend on their player base(Quantum's is very small) to stay alive, and it seems to me that Haz wishes to admin a dead server.

Selina logs on and spies derivative and realizes all the untrained units out, so selina sabs derivative till the defence is low enough.
Selina logs off and right away Hippy then comes on without spying derivative and just starts raiding

Can I point out that S1eepy sabbed two people for me in the exact same fashion? Also, over the years loads of other people have done the same for me, Kikaz for one. Are they my multis too?

This is blatantly untrue. We were logged on at exactly same time HEAPS OF TIMES. You are all only showing the logs of seemingly suspicious activity... how about you show the logs of when we were farming at precisely the same time? I know it happened on a number of occasions.

Actually there is data that shows this is not true, there are many occasions Hippyfool has been fed since the galactic logs were introduced by Skyfusion included, if this was the case we would not be able to find things like this...

I appreciate all game cops being diligent and making sure that they follow up on all matters, however I simply do not think that the data you are given as game cops is detailed enough to make accurate calls on every situation.

I think they are laid out correctly and are giving the relevant details, any of the information can be checked through. There is already confirmation of the The Selina account massing people in another topic regarding the subject.:

I'm sorry but you would be the last person to have any of the notes I have collected, Reason's being you seem very unsure of what you were doing during the era and so far you have slipped up a few times as you didn't actually know what information we have.

The details which I have featured here have been published as they have already been touched upon but rest assured we were jotting things down since February that could be of interest further down the line, if you doubt this I'm sure Arty will tell you his inbox was flooded with data references that I was sending over to him, as the era reset's, I always keep notes of such things.

A number of times You have stated this and you know it to be completely false. The examples given here on the forum show conflicting data to what you are saying, all benefiting you up until April 16th but yet you claim you don't even know if the account has been logged in to since the first month... Forgive me if I don't buy your story but there seems to be quite a hole in it from where I am standing.
Again, the dates and logs show it differently, you clearly knew the account had been logged in to so it puzzles me as to why you are trying to put it across you were oblivious to it. You were not.

That is the case on most occasions but I actually mentioned to Haz a few weeks ago that I felt there was a possibility of two devices being used as I had noticed a few over lapping log in times. We can actually determine some log out times by looking at the previous and current along with the last action taken, more so if they are close together.
I will confirm again though all the time myself and Arty watched the two accounts, they did not take actions at precisely the same moment, it was always one after the other, so yes you were online simultaneously once or twice but again from what we saw no spy/sab/raiding/farming at the same moment.

I'd say more not likely than likely.
There are other players using Skype/msn to coordinate yet none of them act in the same manner as yourself and Skyfusion.
Some of the spur of the moment incidents with the two accounts were simply too quickly acted out unless one person was in control of both ID's.

Sorry I've been busy with RL getting whacked upside my old head with a blindsided company-wide layoff from my cushy formerly high-paying RL job so I have been distracted. Seems my whole life the past 2 years has been ONE big distraction with Mrs. Affy's woes and now my own. I am going to make a few comments and I hope my 8-9 years playing Quantum and donating $$ gives me a little right to do so.

My personal compliments to Teyla, whatever your reasons, needs, passions your whole-hearted fired up fight to do what you think is fair or right for all the Q-server is something that this game/server/'Q-munity' (GD I am jealous and WISH this crazy old fool came up with THAT moniker!) consantly needs to stay fresh, alive, and ripe with the feeling that we are ALWAYS, always trying to establish and maintain a greatly self-policed cooperative spirited community of 'as fair-as-possible' competitive play in a game that by its very most interesting aspects reeks of ways and means to permeate unfair playing grounds. The fact that even WAY WAY back we came up with ways that players could come into an Era 20-30 days in and still compete attest to that.
- I have had SO many RL distractions lately I have not been able to stay up with all that is going on the last 8-9 Eras. Mrs. Affy almost dying really messed up my brain. SO, I have no sure opinion of if Teyla and the work of the Game Cops (which we all asked/begged for by the way) came up with valid evidence.
What I do know is this: Affy thanks you all for your work, passion, and attempts to try and find ways and means to keep the game of Q as fair and as honestly competitive as possible. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed or unappreciated by this old fool!

Now, whether the Admins agree or see it the same way as those of use who have years and years of observable and measurable experience with all the changes, modifications, rule alterations, additions, that the many versions of self-policed Quantum community has begged, pleaded, demanded, has ALWAYS been at best a 50/50 proposition. Is this right, or wrong, or fair? No could be one answer, to all of us who have donated, played, griped, whined, moaned, and stuck it out for many many Eras. Or Yes, to those of us who it worked out in our favor, came and went for brief periods of time, played for a year, had RL knocjk you on your azz so you left for 5-6 Eras, then came back again. As it has seemed for this old fool, the good has balanced out the bad over the years! I have chosen personally to RIDE OUT THE BAD TIMES, because I just cannot, for whatever jealous reasons, give up on enjoying the GOOD times... I am addicted to Quantum, and the friendships of you all it has been my utmost honor and privilege to find and enjoy lo these many funny, crazy, irritating, and joyful Eras.

I am sorry I did not respond to Teyla's PM and make my personal wishes known. This issue, like the feeding, I always try to error on the side of what I 'think' will save/grow/perpetuate the Quantum Server game. I also know I would have been torn if the evidence pointed to Hippy being an actual cheater, because a Q server with Hippy in it is what I believe in my heart is best for the server! I wussied out (blaming it on my RL distractions) and decided to remain uncommittal and did not sign the petition either way. It was easy for me to abstain, but in the same thought I felt like I was also hurting the Q game by NOT having a strong opinion. Here is why I say that:

- Without us having strong opinions, and making a choice to be known, the game suffers.
- Without us making friends, allies, enemies, and being actively involved, the game suffers.
- Without a strong Forum, and having heated discussions, the game suffers.
- Without those of us like this old fart, and Hippy, and other Legends who push the boundaries every Era the game suffers.
- Without having those who 'watch the Legends' and call us on our BS, the game suffers.

And most of all, without us all admitting that we have all at one time or another, bent, stretched, tweaked, or considered ways to get a competitive edge in this insane Q server game, then we are fooling ourselves and are not human. Without this competitive fire, the GAME WOULD SUFFER.

I, Affirmation, in my former earlier years have cheated several times. Many times it was what I thought was 'tactical intellectual advantages' I would find (or my friends/allies would discover and relay to me) only to find that it was alter deemed as 'unfair' and rules were altered to prevent the situation from happening in future Eras. Yes, I have pouted, whined, railed against the Gods of Q and Admins, and others who strangely did NOT agree with me, but I would admit my mistakes and everyone has always forgiven me. I would HAVE to do the same for Hippy or anyone in a similar situation or else I would have to quit in shame. I also once got banned, as Lord Khnum, and lost my original Quantum account. For what? you ask Old man Affy?? (The horrors...) I played in an Alliance of players who once again, stretched the rules and tried to find advantages in the Era rules at that time, and when the Alliance leader was caught Multi-ing, mine and my son's Quantum accounts got permanently banned. I could still not stay away from Q so I came back as Affirmation. Was it fair or just I got 'banned by association' as I whined about for months?? (Admins banned every account in that Alliance, as some douche-bag couple of Admin's buddies claimed that we were all the same one or two players) but, I finally accepted it and moved on.

There are all kinds of reasons, circumstances, and methods that seem reasonable at first but later are just found to be WAY TO MUCH of a fair competitive advantage to allow that behavior to continue. Hence we plead, moan, make our case and the rules of Quantum change (like a 'fart in the wind' Old Man Affy has often referred to Quantum rules) but the community has sustained a decent reasonable insanely intriguing fun playing field for over 8 plus years. So, we have done SOMETHING right, and conversely, have done many things WRONG along the way.

It has always boiled down to the 'spirit' and intentions of all those involved. I believe strongly the reason Quantum has survived is that no matter WHAT the facts, the spirit of Q survives in us all.

Lastly, Old Man Affy will vouch for Hippy with my very game presence. If Hippy is found to be bad for the Quantum Server, then so be it. But, in the ONLY quantitative means I have of vouching for his staying in the game (irregardless of what recent Admins choose or choose Not to do) if my fellow gamers, Q-munity members deem that Hippy is unfit to play, then I am unfit to stay and play. Why? Because I have always played in the same style of Hippy, HE, and other 'Q mentors' although I am embarrassed that their help never seemed to achieve success through Affy and my often stupid play, HA. I believe (like my brainy irritating genius son who plays Q) that Hippy has a mathematical mind and is a student of the coding of Quantum. We often start Eras analyzing the holy crap out of the math/formulas of the new Era and its special feature, and hence coming up with strategies to take advantage of it. I used to always login and go online with Chat (Now Skype crap or whatever its called) and we would play online while chatting back and forth. A lot of the circumstantial evidence being used to beat Hippy down, well, you would have to ban Affy also. It is not uncommon for 7 or 8 or more of us from different Alliances to be talking and coordinating spy results, attack results, and giving hints to our other friends about what is going on with other players. Sometimes I go online just because I see from my Skype/chat that many players are active or potentially online. If playing collusively with other players is unfair, then that defeats the very reasons for making friends/allies. And as for following intellectual bug chasing pursuits, I know of at least 3 buggy Eras we created new accounts JUST to test bugs. Can I truthfully say I NEVER went back and logged into that account later to spy or mess with someone, well, if I did I would be lying.

Is it right that I ask/beg all of you to 'TRUST' me when I say I usually did illegal things for the good of the game or bug testing, I only have my reputation and your combined experiences playing alongside me Era after Era to vouch for me. I place MY trust and respect in all of you, those who have played Era and Era, to allow me to play with you. Respect/leadership is NOT a manifest destined right, it is ONLY granted by those of the community. I exist, play, stay in this game because YOU all grant me this right, and I try to do my best to keep/earn that respect.

I have to give Hippy the same respect. He has always helped others, used a majority of his math skills and talents to further the game overall, and who am I to judge the few times he may get a competitive bone and decide to use his skills or intellectual advantages to enjoy success in the Era. If he has to go, then I have to go.

Again I appreciate all of the people involved and your passions, I am sorry I rambled and this is such a long post, but, I am after all, just Affy.

I love you all, and am glad for the camaraderie you have all given to me over the years, my wish for you is peace, harmony, health, the ability to vent and then recover, and eventually move on but also keep the fire of your competitive passion alive and then login to Q and mass the crap out of some unexpecting Noob, and then turn around and help him/her play better in Q and understand all our crazy unwritten rules...

To those of you who do not play Quantum and chose to chime in, go eat sour farts in some other overly opinionated hell for people who don't really have a valid opinion but choose to barf words out anyways, but you are however, also protected by the right of all to have a say in the Forums. This is going to be a lengthier response, so I'll put it in spoilers - responses to what's been posted in the last couple of days and quite a bit of new info that might explain a thing or two about the decision not to ban Hippy and that shows even further how big of a liar, cheat and dishonest player Hippy is. I don't care if you skip responses (they're directed at Kjarkur, Hippy, Haz and Affy), but if you are interested at all in the investigation, make sure you read the second spoiler.

[spoiler]Kjarkur - you can go piss off. Caprila was far from neutral and professional. Am I against the staff? Yes I am. Why? Because they **Filtered** all over their players. If you can't see that, you are an idiot.

Hippy - Skyfusion/Selina/Spuddo account sabbed and massed a lot of active players throughout the eras. Last era, for instance, along with Ronon Dex, you also sabbed/massed Kamikaze and Teyla (whom we all know you dislike) - and these are just the ones we know of. I know for a fact you also sabbed/massed bebita in previous eras with it. I know you are well aware of it, since you are behind the account, but stop playing dumb. The active players you sabbed/massed with your multi account were mainly your rivals and your enemies. Why do you need a multi account to war others? Like you said, in order to win your account can't be massed at the end and thus you can't have any real enemies - at least not the enemies that know you are behind a certain account.
If you built covert on your main account in the first 2 months of the era, you would waste resources buying spy levels instead of buying UP. It is much more convenient when you can have anyone sabbed or spied any time you want while using up no resources on your main account. Sure, a lot of people ask their friends to spy other people, myself included. The difference is that the friends are real and not imaginary.

Haz - how exactly did Crixus abuse his position? You know as well as I do that based on GC powers, he couldn't have seen whether someone was refreshing his page or not. So what info did he abuse? Huh? Watching the GAL and forming an opinion out of it based on previous experience? You're right, such an extreme case of GC powers abuse There's also a direct response to you in the lower part of this post, but that pertains to the investigation and thus I felt it was better if I place it there.

Affy - the difference is that you know what you've been doing was wrong and you changed because of it. Just like Arty and just like many before him. Hippy, however, is still oblivious to the fact he needs to play by the book. Multying isn't stretching the rules, it isn't a gray area, it is against the rules, period. No buts, ifs, ahhs, ohhs. It is against the rules. If you use a different account to test and find out the best way to progress in the era, you have an illegal advantage over others who play fairly. You use a different account and if you mess it up, well you haven't lost anything on your main account. Those that mess up with the tactic on their main account lose the edge over others. As simple as that. I've also often tested out bugs and reported them straight to Jason whenever he asked me to test something out. Some of those eras I was playing for rank. I always used my one and only account. I never asked Jason to give me back the resources wasted testing things out. If I can do it, so can everyone else. No matter how you put it, having multiple accounts is against the rules.
I can understand why S1eepy had to have more accounts and that's the only exception to the rules I deem acceptable, as long as he deletes those accounts afterwards and only ever creates them while creating a Q calculator that is available for everyone. Without brand new accounts with 0 stats, he couldn't have created a working calc and that calc benefits everyone, not just himself.
If he does use those accounts for personal benefit, he should be banned at once. [/spoiler]

Quite a lot of new information pertaining Hippy case:
[spoiler]Haz - as promised, here is the other bit of response to you (but for everyone to read as it is about the investigation). You not seeing the link between ytrewq and Selina before additional info was posted here makes me doubt your thoroughness when investigating the actions of HippyFool and Selina. IP matches are amongst the easiest things to find so if you didn't find an IP match, who knows what else you have missed (deliberately or not)? Banning Selina and ytrewq, 2 of Hippy's multies, is the step in the right direction, but all he needs to do is make new ones. Permaban him, strip all his GnR. Or if you don't want to permaban him, at least reset his bank size to that of new accounts and ban him for an era or two and show that you want to keep the game clean and that cheating doesn't pay off. I also noticed you still haven't replied to why was the decision about Hippy not being a cheater so difficult one to make - if there is no evidence to support such claims, of course. So what's up with that? I might have an answer, though, so be sure to read everything.

Hippy - numerous times we've caught you lying. "He only sabbed one inactive person, he spied a bit for me in the beginning but then became inactive, he never fed me after the GAL were added, oh sorry - he didn't feed me much longer after the GAL were added.

So lets back up a bit. Once upon a time, there was a player called HippyFool who claimed to not be fed. Of course this turns out not to be true. He was being fed, big time.

2 months before the GAL were added, Hippy makes a remark about a certain zebrahives:

Funnily enough, 2 months go by and Hippy posts saying that zebrahives and Spuddo a.k.a. Selina a.k.a. Skyfusion are both his RL friends (bare in mind that 2 months earlier he referred to zebrahives as 'this dude'. Read the post by 5forV and then Hippy's response. - May '09

Fastforward almost a year (yes, that's right, almost A YEAR since the GAL were added - bare in mind Hippy said he stopped being fed almost straight after the GAL were added, and a year isn't 'almost straight after' in my book) and you get Hippy admitting he was fed by zebrahives. Fastforward another couple of months and you (and this is very, very funny) get.. Well guess what? An IP match between zebrahives, Hippy's "RL friend who fed him" and another multi account. Sounds familiar to the Skyfusion/Selina/Spuddo case?
Bare in mind that in the first thread I linked, Hippy advises 5forV NOT to ask the admins to investigate zebrahives. And it turns out zebrahives is Hippy's "friend", a multi and pretty much the same as Skyfusion/Selina/Spuddo. Another one in the long line of strange coincidences which all show in the direction of Hippy multying, I am sure. Don't take my word for it, though, feel free to read it yourself in the following thread.

You see, I spent a lot of time thinking why Haz doesn't listen to logic and doesn't ban Hippy when he has clearly cheated the majority of the time since he started playing Q. He also claimed the decision was hard to make and, at a different time, that there is no evidence (thus the decision should be easy to make). Zebrahives was accused of multying and Haz comes along and says they aren't a multi because Haz knows them. A while later zebrahives is found to be Hippy's "RL friend" and his feeder and then just a bit later on, zebrahives is found to be a multi. And when Hippy who is directly connected to zebrahives falls under investigation of cheating, Haz is the one who clears Hippy up despite all the evidence proving Hippy is a cheater. Haz is the one who says the decision was hard to make and yet claims there was no real evidence. Therefore the decision should be an easy one to make. Unless.. Yes, unless there IS evidence, but Haz chose to ignore it. Perhaps he knows zebrahives is Hippy? If zebrahives and Hippy truly were 2 separate people and knew each-other IRL, then I am sure zebrahives also mentioned Hippy to Haz.

There's more, though. Remember when I said Hippy said zebrahives and Spuddo/Selina/Skyfusion were his RL friends? In the topic below, Hippy claims he only has 1 RL friend playing the game. At the time, both zebrahives and Spuddo were active-ish on Q (and please remember their activity doesn't translate into stats, but into massing/sabbing Hippy's rivals and feeding Hippy) - Jun '09.

Note, in the next page Hippy does say there's only one script that he knows of (although as we have seen by now, he lies all the time) and that hasn't been working for over a year at the time of posting. I wonder, how could he have known that if he hadn't been using it? Ahh yes, I am sure he was just "testing", that's what honest players do, they "test" scripts and continue "testing" them as long as they work.

Oh and guess what. Yes. It gets even better. Hippy accused of multying on main server by Clarkey, a person who caught dozens of cheaters and was practically never wrong. Notice if you read the thread:

I wonder.. Why does the word technically have to be there? I am not a sgw multi. I do not have to say "I am technically not a sgw multi". Hippy uses his words carefully, just as he carefully said in this topic that he hasn't used Skyfusion to benefit his main account (massing and sabbing other people doesn't directly benefit your main account, after all, does it?). You either aren't a multi or are a multi. Technically not being a multi just means you are a multi but try to not be banned due to abusing the technicalities.
Notice also: Hippy does not get cleared of multying. The thread was closed until Jason did his checks and reported what he found.

Spuddo/Skyfusion/Selina account in era 9
afardox1000 (zebrahives' multi) in era 10 and got deleted in era 21
ytrewq (Selina's multi) account was created in - surprise, surprise - era 21

I wonder how come ytrewq, Selina's multi, was created exactly in the same era as afardox1000, zebrahives' multi, was deleted. Both zebrahives and Selina fed HippyFool account and are, apparently, "RL friends" of Hippy. Both of them have multies. When one was deleted, the other one was created. Before that, first Hippy created his account, then 2 eras later it was zebrahives account and then 2 new accounts, both proven multies with ties to Hippy were created one after another, one era after another. I must say, smart thinking. If he created accounts straight after one another, they would have had IDs very close to each-other and would, thus, be far easier to locate.

Also a question of sanity - why would anyone who doesn't play other than to feed and mass/sab enemies of Hippy create a multi accout and thus taint their names? It doesn't make any sense, does it? Multies are created when one person seeks illegal advantages. If Selina and zebrahives truly weren't Hippy's multies, they wouldn't have needed that illegal advantage over others as they didn't play anyway, other than to mass (which was always easy) and to feed. However, when someone multies - the more multi accounts they can get their hands on, the bigger their illegal advantage. Bare in mind that at the time the IP matches were found, Jason took very little interest in the banning of multies and the tools at our disposal were far less powerful and thus it was far more difficult to see the bigger picture. So there's no surprise Hippy made an effort only to keep his main account clean and didn't bother much if he slipped up on any of his multi accounts.

Anyway I have probably missed out on a couple of threads and dates featuring Hippy's feeds. But honestly - I spent the last 3h writing this bad boy up, with another 2h compiling all the topics. Props to Crixus for finding the URL to Clarkey's thread, the URL to the thread o zebrahives IP match and the URL to the thread of Haz previously defending zebrahives[/spoiler]
