Pity. The reason I got so involved was because of Fitz and his part to play in all of this. :(

I AM DISAPPOINT. :( :(

oh, there's plenty of engaging characters in the other books as well... and you never know if he might appear in future books as well... (he hasn't been proven to die, so its an option)

we'd recommend this forum to you if you want to discuss the fitz addiction... there's several others there thriving from the same addiction... (thriving mind you, not suffering)

It's not an addiction, so much as you draw somebody to the lure of the realm of this story, and then you end it so ..fast. The entire event was three books long, only to end in a single chapter.

thats the nice thing about there being more books... and more characters to enjoy just as much... (and not all of the great characters in the other books are human)

True, true. You can find out more about the Elderlings, Dragons, etc. I'm more interested in what happens after the Dragons have dealt with the Red Ships because the reason they started in the first place was because of this exact course of action. :-k

And what were the White Ships? Or perhaps it is told to happen in the later books?

Third book in the Rain Wild Chronicles, City of Dragons, was released in stores on the 7th.

Still highly recommended. (not read it yet due to int'l transit times)
