Rollback completed.

Account related bugs:
- IP ban disabled (this was a re-occurrence of the 'O2'-issue, when telephones using certain IPs were locked out) - no player accounts were banned (except for 84840, accidental negative resources)
- Accounts on vacation are untouchable again
- Planet cloaks have been extended by 2 days
- Existing PPT extended by 36-48 hours
- New PPT of 36-48 hours given to players active in the last 7 days


Display:
- Fixed forum link in the old style top menu
- "To Ascended" and "To New Grounds" buttons now display on the old style as well

This is for main bugs and I realize that, but it's a bug that came after the server migration so I am posting here to keep it easier for you to have it all in one place:
Ascended ranks aren't updating either mid turn, as they normally do, or after the turn change.

I'm confused though, my ppt is extended by 36-48 hours or extended up to the max?

says the person with an ascended tournaments spoiler in their sig and wanted my help with ascended (and i was happy to help as always) so clearly some of us care

it is a bug and it happened during migration and hopefully support can find the reason and get it done

In other news when trying to log in via the classic type gatewars login page (its the one i have bookmarked) it seems to take me back a day or 2 for some reason.
when i login on my phone using the new address its fine and up to date, when i use the classic login on my comp then takes me back a day or so (i know this because i did a name change yesterday and it reverts back to the old name & i am also missing about 100 gnr roughly)
Also get error msg when trying to use quick link for ascended, works fine on my mobile.

Is this just related to using the old layout/login?

lol Support can check me for cheating all she'd like as there will be nothing found It was just a joke as Support specifically said no accounts were banned aside for him because of negative resources which does happen from time to time to legit players... again just a little playful banter and if she wants it all in this thread then good as i had tried to get all bugs from server migration posted in a single thread to make her job a little easier to get them sorted

interesting about the name change issue though

i tested out the to ascended button and it worked for me on laptop, haven't tested on mobile

Ascended ranking updating still not in place and there was no rollback there it seems, only on main (no one cares about ascended comments to follow)

Patching Ascended today.



All issues Fuhrer reported were related to using outdated bookmarks (and incomplete redirecting on our end).
If anyone sees that they somehow logged in to "gatewars.com" still, please get in touch with support@gatewa.rs immediately.

I logged in just now with my Main and at first everything worked fine.
Logged in with my NGM, everything worked fine.

Switched back to Main, managed to log in, but as soon as I press ANY button, I get logged out.
I did not alter any browser settings and cookies are still enabled.

Edit:
NG and Ascended still works fine.

Edit 2: And it's back to normal.

This looks like it might have been a glitch possibly related to the backup schedule; should not happen again.

Ascended ranking issue resolved.

iv noticed toggleing Banner Ads on dosent change your income. iv changed waited to turn change and income never changed shut it off and still no change.

Considering you wouldn't see the ads, reasonable not to get a bonus.
