Do you have to pick a Race of them (Anja, Indu) first, or do you get the information first then pick?

cause i wanna pick one, but i would like to know what the others do too.

y arnt we allowed to discuss stuff about the ascended server, its good but its not like the end of the world if they did kno, mayb some people wudnt ascend if they knew what reli happened
