there is no PPT?

and I'm ok with it, because I move naq alot, and having no bank fee adds up quickly.

If I went soley on stat bonus I would go Tauri since I know the game mechanics, but I can't leave the G's as I'm to inbedded in the RP part of it, and hope to see some RP in origins

It's been a while since I played this game , but weren't the original bonuses:
25% strike Tauri
25% defend Asgard
25% income Gaould
25% covert Replis
It's my understanding that this server is supposed to be similar to the way the game used to be ?

Semper's thought is good, or we could just replace the replicators with Tok'ra and bring them back from the beginnings of the game.

never replicators RULE. they stay

bonus or nor bouns i would always pick a replicator

and also i think if ascnetions did go ahead (i know its onlt beta but still) if they did i think that replis should go asuran, Tauri to ancients, asguard in to some thing and goualds in to well system lords.

cos its poeple who ascned in to Ancients not clones :P

If ascension comes about, it wont be like that. I gave a dam good version of ascension in my suggestions somewhere around here...

If ascension ends up going back to the stupid names and bonus' I may choke admin gary with printed out versions of my ideas until one sticks.

The Tok'Ra are technically in the game you just can't play as them.

If you wish to change race, accepting the losses above, you may now choose a new race. Note the current race bonuses:
Goa'uld 20 Percent Income Bonus
Asgard 25 Percent Defence Bonus
Replicator 15 Percent Attack and 10 Percent Defence Bonus
Tauri 30 Percent Attack Bonus
Tok'ra 20 Spy Bonus

Just go under change race and you'll see them there.

Every races should get 25% racial bonus.

Goa'uld: 15% Income, 10% Assassin. They have lots of Naq on hand & remember those pesky assassins Ashraks...

Asgard: 15% Defence, 10% Covert. Strong technology, access to Naq, Trinium & cloaked ships...

Replicator: 20% Attack, 5% Unit Production. Good attackers, only Ancient technology can really destroy them & they REPLICATE alot...

Tauri: 15% Attack, 10% Income. Good Attackers access to Naq, Trinium & heavy on the resources, 6.677 Billion of em...

Tok'ra: 15% Covert, 10% Sabotage. They hide a lot and like to sneak in and break stuff, not many of them around and they don't have much in the way of ships and Naq mines...

Trying to think outside the box here, if one gets a multi-stat, why not all?

I tried to be fair in the distribution in regards to my understanding of the Stargate races.

Also to be more in sync with the Stargate Universe, I would add the Ori as they were quite influential towards the end, & Jaffa also as they had a rebellion of Free Jaffa equal to any Tok'ra rebellion in my book, lets not forget the Tollan were around too.

Army of the Ori: 15% Attack, 10% Defence. They have great technology & a strong fleet, but only a few planets in this galaxy...

Free Jaffa: 15% Attack, 10% Income. They have ships, troops & access to plenty of Naq...

Tollan: 15% Defence, 10% Income. Strong technology, Ion cannons, weird spacial quantum stuff & access to Naq, Trinium. Technically they are advanced Humans, not ascended nor near the Technological or evolutionary levels of the Ancients.

I'm completely open minded to changing the bonus balance for each race.

Making more races with Income bonuses might break the strangle hold of the Goa'uld and give the game a little more variation.

My 2p worth.

Ideas for Ascended races:
If Ascension does happen here in the far off future the I would have it go something like this:

Goa'uld > Anubis Level System Lord/Entity. Half Ascended with advanced technology & Ancient knowledge

Asgard > Pegasus Advanced Battle Suit Wearin Asgard. Stronger with no gene defects & advance technology even by Asgard standards, as they didn't have to fight the Replicators in Pegasus.

Replicator > Asuran. More advances technology, city ships & powerful fleets.

Tauri > Anicent. You know who these guys are.

Tok'ra > Anubis Level System Lord/Entity. The polar opposite of Anubis.

Free Jaffa > Ancient. They are Humans after all, just some what modified.

Tollan > Ancients. Again just advanced Humans so they would become Ancients.

Army of the Ori > Ori/Orisi. Polar opposite of the Ancients.
Just thinking out loud. :)

Ultimately these games never remain simple...
