it was that terrible stade de france, which still had its rugby lines clearly visible on the pitch

so its understandable, the simpleton forgot what sport he was playing!

well, i suppose french are generally very sporting players, just look at the final in '08, like zindane was very sportsman like....oh no wait #-o

Edit: just say this on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/pages/We-Irish-hate-Thierry-Henry-the-cheat/215531572576?ref=mf

It was 2006..
Don't talk about what you have no clue of, as you seem to not know the facts behind that...unless you conveniently avoided to mention them, which is I think more likely the case!

I know I don't and for that, I'm tempted to add to my banner space my Henry sig...
As far as I know, he didn't insult family of any Irish player, unlike Materazzi so conveniently indirectly mentionned above in other quotation, conveniently I said, due to fact reasons of Zidane's act were of course not mentionned...

Stop to blame Henry, you know pretty well any player doing handball wouldn't have shouted at referee to point out his mistake (at least nobody did so in this match, irish players handballing included), and no team would have either asked their goal made with handball to be withdrawn.
It's referee's mistake, everyone make mistakes, can be quite annoying, but it's like that. No videos used to help referee...blame FIFA.

The whole situation was a shambles but the referee could not of seen this from where he was standing it is the linesman who is at fault here,TWICE! He missed the two french players offside and two blantent handballs from Henry which he admitted to after the game!

As a Irish man i am proud of those lads! That was the best performance that we've seen from them in a long time and its a shame that some of Irelands best and longest serving players (Given,Dunne,Keane) who have been playing for Ireland together since schoolboy will miss what was definately their last chance of a world cup

At this level situations like this only back-up the arguement for video replay in football for big decisions. It's a disgrace that this should happen to any team

1. it's not really henry's fault
2. but the ref should be hanged by his bollix from the top of the croker
3. there should be tv match official like it's in rugby.

the only fear with video replay is that it might slow the game down too much! Its ok in rugby because its not a quick a game as football

Imagine putting video replay into say hurling!! You would kill the game, Thats what the fear is for football
