What would MS volleys have to do with planets? The reason why I said to remove the MS techs was because of the 30% boost
in slots given to fleets. If planets must stay off MPDSD in order to be used, then something must even out... either the MS
techs should be removed or platforms should require at least 15% of it's power in order for a fleet attack to be successful
instead of 10%... since planet defenses will require 20% with the new update.

That or give planet defences an extra 30% power for each defence

There's no need to beef up numbers, like he did with MS Techs. Just make existing numbers more efficient... like he's doing with planet defense requiring 20% fleet power now. It would be great if defense for planets was the same across the board whether it was planet or platform defenses... all requiring 20%.

I think platforms actually become the more expensive option, even once planet defences start to double in cost

Neither are very cheap, but there is a method we use in Skull Squadron to keep our repair costs very low should anyone try to test defenses on one of our protected planets.

OK, i did some testing on beta, and here's what i worked out.

90m - mind blowing - less than 500k
180m - any - between 500k and 600k
360m - any - between 600k and 700k
540m - any - between 700k and 800k
720m - any - between 800k and 900k

The cost per defence goes up by 180m each 100k above 600k, and 500-600k will cost 180m.
