The Ori do not lie. Don't be silly. They can't lie. They are simply too thick minded to realize the truth. They believe their own propaganda, so they technically do not lie.
One of their claims is enough to prove my point:
"The Ori created all life."
In times of old, the Altera built a device of great power, capable of converting matter into energy, and the other way. They used it to seed life throughout the Galaxy in which they decided to settle. The life forms evolved in time, while the Altera used their superior knowledge to ascend to a higher plane of existence.
The Ori, of the same race as the Altera, evolved in time to the point they could also ascend. They seeded life upon their own Galaxy, but unlike the Altera, who didn't want to interfere nor claim any rights, the Ori imposed their ideas to the lower beings, and so created a culture and religion of their own.
The Ori are gods by definition - powerful immortal beings who can create life and do mortally impossible things and are being worshiped by a number of people. You should not question their self-claimed title. After all, you Goa'uld also claim to be gods, and you do not even own a fragment of their power, or worshipers.
But, as we should all remember, the chronicles of time teach us that there supposedly existed gods of all kinds, some good, and others bad. It is up to each person's choice to choose where to categorize each godly being.
I personally choose to think that the Ori are evil out of ignorance, which is reflected by their deeds.

I find it amusing that after claiming to be gods themselves, the Goa'uld ceased part of their stupidity in return for more of it, in the form of worshiping the Ori.

No one is above grammar. Miss-spelling a name can be considered a grammar mistake, and Tassadar chooses to do it.
Tassadar speaks in order to defy the Ori, and get directly approached by them.
