One of the organic replicator forms (think back to the first part of 'be all my sins remember'd, SGA) or a perfect form human replicator (btw..these latter do learn how to 'ascend' in SGA season 5...OMG! NO! No he didnt..yes...yes I did...
)

I like to hedge my bets I would pick the organic form but with one proviso, More nanites in case of total organic failure i can replicate to pure human form.

i would go for a transformer like type. with tonns off weapon gadgets.
once deploying on the surface off a world, just taking on the form off a fighterjet, or a hummer when operation on the ground.
to bad i'm still drawing out the blueprints for it

isn't there a weight limit to ascend?
i mean i know the expression of being a big nanite on campus but this is getting rediculous

when one ascends they shed their physical body so they would hav no weight neway... it just makes us ask where does all the weight go?
