Quick question, have you actually seen, say, Norway for yourself? Or are you just one of the gullible people who actually believe there's such a thing as Norway. I mean, come on.. who would believe that! We don't believe anything we have not seen for ourselves.
There is no Norway. Norwegians are false propagandists, and if I somehow get to "Norway", it will be a virtual reality simulation.
There is no outside world.
There is no world.
Everything is make believe.. yes.
Drach, my boy, I see your point. See above.
HAHAHAHA, now your being silly, I've been to many places in my short life, have a look at the Earth from orbit, can you spot even one city, I sure can't.Drachenstein wrote:I don't belong to any conspiracy club, but I can read between the lines.
Okay.. so you're not a member of the conspiracy club (shame, you'd qualify), but you are superior in your information researching skills? Impressive.
Please don't put words in my mouth its rude.Drachenstein wrote:What the hell gives us the right to tell other nations how many children they can produce?
Who is us? If us is 'humanity', then I say 'humanity' trumps 'nations', bigtime.
If 'us' is 'US', then yes, you should probably shut up now.
If 'us' is something else, then well.. what are you even trying to say?
By 'US' I mean western nations, Humanity hasn't united yet so as a species we couldn't organize a pi** up in a brewery.Drachenstein wrote:China tried the one child system and that's really working out well for them isn't it? Never mind the abandoned girls that families don't want.
Oh, have you actually seen these abandoned girls for yourself? or are you just repeating something you read somewhere?
Yes I have actually, ever heard of the dying rooms? But go ahead and call me a liar if you wish, didn't you say them same thing about me, that not seeing is not believing??? The door swings both ways.Drachenstein wrote:If you think for one second that the world is in this state because we caused it, your severely misguided.
Yay! Let's blame.. hmm.. eehm.. God. Yes. God made the world wrong. Damn deities, always screw you over.
Drachie, dear, don't say "if you think for one second that the world is in this state because we caused it, you're severely misguided". It makes you look like an idiot, since you suggest there is something beyond individuals self-made destiny.
Next thing I know you'll be telling us that everything is preordained, so naturally, we humans have no control over the world. *sigh* Case and point. You don't want the responsibility, fine. Jump off a bridge or something, there's no way you can duck out from under this obligation.
I'm an atheist, with no children, yet. So how am I to blame?Drachenstein wrote:Ignore the men behind the curtain!!!
Yet you continuously refer to a higher power, since according to you, humans have no control over what they do with their lives and the world around them. Hmm..
I never said that the higher power was a god or deity or some other worldly force, putting words in my mouth again same on you.Drachenstein wrote:Open your eyes for Christ sake, and use some critical thinking.
Like you? Now that would be interesting.
What the hell is that suppose to mean?Drachenstein wrote:This issue is so far off into the future, we have other more pressing issues to deal with in the present.
Do you know the story of Prometheus and Epimetheus? You probably do. Do I need to say more?
Do you actually believe these stories or are you refering to them as metaphors?Drachenstein wrote:Legendary Apophis wrote:Ohhh SO much things to say there!Drachenstein wrote:Legendary Apophis wrote:It's NOT about big brother stories here people on that topic...it's about HOW to DECREASE GROWTH of population with a political correct way. To AVOID EXCESS of population.
Growth HAS to STOP.
Actually it is about big brother, the point being that the world is not over populated at all. Its a misconception that has been fed into the public Psyche. The same goes for global warming which has now been changed to climate change as we're now on a cooling cycle, something which is impossible to prevent.
Read my arguments and come once again
Can you be more specific please.
*sigh*
Are you tired?
Again the over population myth is a problem, reaction, solution scenario being hoisted onto the common man, the elite believe that we commoners are destroying their planet, so they create the false problem so that we in turn ask for the solution.
Again, read my arguments, and thank you very much, I'm well informed on things
Never said you were uninformed, just a bit misguided, your arguments to me hold no water, feel free to explain why I'm wrong.
*sigh* You're not listening, so why bother?
I am but I disagree, are you denying me my opinion?
I once took flying lessons, and when I was up at 2000 feet over manchester which I thought was over crowded at the time, but I realised that it wasn't. England is truly green and vast from that perspective, the reason I thought it was over crowded was because people have been forced to live in over populated urban centers, we should learn to spread out more, I think you would find that there is plenty of room out there for everyone to live happily.
You didn't fly above Lagos, Sao Paulo, Manille obviously, those are overpopulated cities.
Your correct I didn't fly over those cities. How exactly do theses cities affect you? Are they taking food off your table? Do they encroach on your personal space? Have the people there said they feel over crowded? Your statement seems vague to the extreme.
*sigh* So now you're suddenly an individualist.. leaves in the wind..
Sure why not, It's all about me me me me, why should I care about others fates.
As for China & Indian being blamed for the massive increase in population this is also a myth in my book, both countries are vast in size, the reason they struggle to have better living conditions is due to the worlds resources being concentrated it the top 1% of the worlds population.
No comment needed...
Are you agreeing with me here???
*sigh* No. Your statement is ludicrous, and since you have shown not to be able to listen, there is no need for comments. It would be a good idea to stop posting until you listen, brother.
I'm not you brother mate, you just don't like the fact that I'm not agreeing with Jim. You can't win a debate by saying nothing in response.
The west has been selfish with its wealth and technologies, and sadly our power is now under threat from nations such as China & Indian, and those at the top are not happy about this, so they say there is a problem and create artificial energy and food shortages in the hope that we ask them to solve the problem, they then say that population reduction is need and we say 'oh joy, we're saved'.
Conspiracy theory
How is this Conspiracy theory? You do realize that food prices are directly linked to the cost of crude oil don't you? And that most people are starving because they simple can't afford the staple foods any more due to inflation, money is artificial isn't it? And I wonder who controls that? IMF ring any bells?
*sigh* Kid, get a grip. Money is 'artificial', energy and food shortages are not. Ever tried to transport 1 cubic kilometre of butter? Us here in Europe could easily spare that. But have you ever considered means of transportation for a cubic kilometre? Of butter?! That's just one example of where logistics beat production. Yes, we produce enough for the whole world. No, we cannot transport it. Yet. 1 cubic kilometer of butter could surely fit into a few dozen super tankers couldn't it? Gees I hope the poor have good health services as all that butter would cause cholesterol problems, Yikes...
The Georgia guide stones tell us that a 500 million population should be reached and maintained, I wonder who put those there? I'll bet my bottom dollar, sorry Amero, that is wasn't your average Joe.
500 million? That would be perfect! But would take long to reach, considering no "cleansing" would be done...
How would that be perfect? Are you going to volunteer to be one of the 5.5 billion people who have to go by what ever means necessary? because that's what those tablets say.
*sigh* You're not listening. He says it would take long, since you wouldn't kill people off to get to that 500m amount. For once, try and think about affairs that might take longer than your short life, brother. How long do you think this would take given increased life spans and such, there is no way to achieve what Jim wants without a few people dying, to quote the Joker 'You can't make an omelet without breaking some eggs' hehe.
The fact is all these problems have a root source and once we see this real progress can be made to help the situation.
And I found a solution to that problem, which is a problem, another blind guy who doesn't see truth, if not a problem for you, that is
Say what??? I'm sorry but this sentence isn't making any sense to me.
*sigh* Jim has found a possible solution to that issue. He has made that clear in his first post, before you lot came and hijacked the thread with your childish and naive lies about there being no problem.
Rewriting his sentence: "And I have found a solution to that problem. It IS a problem. You're just another blind guy if for you, it's not a problem." Who in all their infinite wisdom said the world is over populated? Just because I disagree means I'm the liar, your thought process is quite twist isn't it?
Sorry I'm rambling on here, but the truth remains that all this s*** is coming from the same place, the Elite that secretly rule over us.
Oh noes!
Oh yeah!
How quaint.
Which definition of quaint are you using here?
Imagine that its the start of the 22nd century, if we aren't rubble by then, the technologies available to us in agriculture might allow for a 20-30 billion population, and I would hope by that time we would have established colonies among the planets and moons of our solar system, perhaps even beyond.
Did you see the Fifth Element movie? If not, watch it ASAP!
I did, are you seriously using a Bruce Willis film to justify you argument? Now who's clutching at straws, if you didn't know, that film is make believe.
*sigh* Never heard of concepts? Sure, the film is make believe. The concepts that the film addresses are not.
Take that fool Michael Moore for example. His 'movies' stink, his directing skills are non-existent, but he has in the past addressed a few good points (and those who know me know how much it pains me to say this). Fiction, yes. But not fiction for the sake of fiction. Kind of like mythology.. the morals of a story? Sure I have, and the concept of that film is wacky to say the least, if we're to foray into the world of concepts, then I would much prefer the urban planet of Coruscant from starwars as a concept for a planet struggling to meet space requirements. Concepts are not real so anying goes, good or bad, its all in the interpretation of said concept.
Call it a flight of fancy, but given the rapid acceleration in our technological development over the past 100 years these goals aren't beyond our reach, we just don't want it bad enough yet.
Thanks for listening, I look forward to some constructive criticism of my thoughts and beliefs.
You have the floor Legendary Apophis or can I call you Jim?
'Its a debate Jim, but not as we know it'.....
Replied in blue. >_>
And for the record; the IDIOT who comes up with the next "We can all have 16 acre ranches!" will get shot. I'll hire a hitman, so beware.
As if anyone wants 16 acres of Sahara. 16 acres of glacier ice. 16 acres of bare rock.
148,940,000 km² land yes..It is estimated that only one eighth of the surface of the Earth is suitable for humans to live on—three-quarters is covered by oceans, and half of the land area is either desert (14%), high mountains (27%), or other less suitable terrain.
Checkmate? Dude.. we haven't even started.
Desert never stopped Las Vegas, Mountains never stop Sherpas or monks
Jungles & rain forests never stop tribal peoples of the world and the Eskimos don't seem to mind the ice, this is now down to what standard of living you wish to have.
Your move.
