For my case, it was a friend.
I was System Lord for 2 years and she convinced me to become Ancient and I finally switched this summer

i started out as an Asgard. Only fitting to be and stay as an Ancient after ascending.

I liked the defense bonus for asgard at first, now that Im done ascending I thought it would be fun to be a system lord for a while....
Asgard/ancient population +1-1

i like the asgard/ancient because im defensive by nature on these type of games and when i hunt for naq i dont normally hit targets with a df so their lower atk doesnt bother me

When Ancient Brethren was made it was an all Ancient alliance.
I ascended while in it.

started asgard.... ascended..... had my ascended deleted by a hacker so became daimon, switched back to asgard and ascended back to ancient

I was asgard before i ascend
