I actually laughed out loud for that one. Well if this is not the latest big joke on the forums, I don't know what is.. but please.. do continue...I want to see what other 'great' names populate the list... do you want to skip the winging and put Odin, Earendil and Maha Vishnu on there too whilst you're at it? The sooner the better really.. im doing some intense coursework atm for wednesday and I could use the laugh as a 'pick me up'.

Is it a list where it's only still playing Goa'ulds or also counts history great goaulds no longer playing?

If it's those still around I would say hmmm

EnterTheLion
REK
Earendil
Reschef

I don't count new SL/Goa'ulds for now as they have to show themselves I think :)

I might forget some, sorry got bit too much no longer playing SLs in mind lol.

Yes I know, not very SLish of me to not put myself in top of list XD
I didn't want to list everyone as afterall other people might have some interesting people I don't know about, hence why I didn't do a full list ;)

I know you play the role of a System Lord well, some of us prefer to take the silent and more...thought out approach of doing so, you'd be surprised of what i've done lately ;)

And yes I know the awards are a popularity contest and of course I asked my friends to vote for me, but many of 'my' votes did not come from people I conversed with

Attempt to belittle you? I don't need to do that..

As for what you've done recently and it being quiet.. well that just not System Lord esque now is it? *shakes head* no...If you noticed from the Source itself.. Anubis and Sokar were quiet, but they were no means great goa'uld until they actually acted in galactic view.

I don't know how you and Odin got you're awards...but the world is a little wrong when you beat the likes of Jim in it.. he may be the lowest of the old guard when it comes to the true great's from by gone years, but he should have had that one in the bag.

As I said.. this topic is an amusement

Jim, please don't add Rhett, REK and myself to that list...it would be more of an embarrassment than an honour. We've ascended beyond the this now..

Hmm well if past great ones don't deserve, and current/rising SLs don't either, who does? :-D

As for me winning the award or not, I'm already glad to have been till voting, awards being pop contest or not, accurate or not, still not easy to even be in 2nd round!

Earendil wrote:Jim did not deserve to win that award, there I said it.

It was for the 2008 game year, half of that year, he was an Ancient ;)

The years before, yes, he most certainly did.

That 6months, and the three years before it were enough to top you two to be honest. However... all the noobs out there are unaware, so voted for you two..(of course, very few of the real Goa'uld System lords ever vote for anyone other than themselves...)

I've talked to Pops about this and he knows how I feel. He should of won it the year before, but well, he didn't. I do believe I got some rather nice votes myself. I would go look again, but icba'd to do so, that was '08 and this is '09 now.

What sort of comeback is that?

You're no System Lord.

Question?. What makes a great system lord?

ME, Army size, standing in the forums, Alliance size etc etc.

I see all these names put before me. And yes, some I have heard of, some I have not , but what makes them great.

I'm posting whenever I consider it needed ;)
Anyways. What makes Hookoo2 a great Goa'uld? Only thing special he achieved was becoming Goa'uld mod since like 50% or more of the FUALL System Lords voted for him ... what a great accomplishment.
I mean, I haven't even heared of before said election.
