You never saw it comming...The Daimon race!Or at least rethink it,add some,take some and slap some life into it!You'll probably say "Shut up Ashu admin has more important things to take care of"...While that may be so...i really think this will add some more of the "fun factor" to the game.Whats fun you say?Fun is when...uhm...well i forgot tbh but with a bit of twicking,you could really make the daimon race something that could counter some of the more hideous aspects of the game,that are killing it!Daimons loose 2x troops,thats why people hardly descended themselves,Jason could fix that,make looses less and what i was thinking,"Daimon ascension".As in,something like G&R is earned and the more you "ascend" the less you loose by att/def.Daimon *insert cool name here* 2 or 3 after so many "ascensions".Its clear that the game isn't what it used to be,and as admin said there won't be anymore ascensions,this aspect,of "descending" ones self should be taken into consideration...

its not about the name change.back in the day daimons still kept some of he ascended weapons,only the blessing was taken.you could make a lot of things on daimons that would make it unique and wanted.Like cheaper things,big bonuses and so forth...

That too!All i am saying is bring back the fun,and make some neglected aspects of the game fixed through such ugrades,as on the daimon race.I will descend myself in 1 sec if this were to happen...

so introduce a race, with its very own "ascensions" and special bonuses? I doubt anyone would give up 20 ascensions to start all over again, and unless the bonuses are massive(and in turn just as expensive) it won't rival the ascensions already in place

after LG+1 you get 1%, true, but 15 ascensions later, and tons of naq and UU spent, not to mention time, and you have a pretty sweet blessing. If you make daimons capable of rivaling it, then it needs to be just as expensive and time consuming to obtain, giving them cheaper stuff is totally unfair to everyone else. Unless you want to just make them as powerful as an unascended race, which would make the MS's cheaper anyway. and as unascended they'd be at a huge disadvantage, so noone would bother, imo

Then make it time consuming,but bring it back,make it fun and perhaps we would have fixed some 25% of the stuff that's killing the game...

And i have to agree with Ashu, the Damion race is even more unplayable then a non-ascneded race. With no blessing (like normals), but 2x the losses, you may as well completely de-ascend yourself completely...

Why not help Damions out more? They put the effort into ascending already, and basically get punished for choosing the race

Well the reason diamons are punished is because they have the ability to have ascended weps / benefits other than AB, with no chance to have these taken off / reduced by de-ascension attacks in Ascended.

So you should factor this into consideration into your idea.

Thing is, most ascended accounts now, can't be de-ascended anyway, if build with some thought.

With the ability to bound back 30% of the damage coming at you back at your enemy, then, absorb a further 30% of that to prevent any damage, leaving only 49% of the initial power hitting you. Further more, since you can only take out 30% of the total lifeforce (reserves + lifeforce), they need to not have logged in for 9 hours minimum, which doesn't count their regeneration rate. Also, to get to this 30%, you need to inflict essentially 60% of their entire lifeforce in 1 hit, to be able to de-ascend them in 9 hours...

Daimons were poorly done to begin with, and doomed to die. If Admin has no intention of making ascention remotely playable then he needs to find a better balance for the Daimons. Many people do not want to play 2 games. If he is going to give people the option, then atleast make it a viable one. Daimons should suffer the same costs as everyone else, but should not be as strong because they do not have the ascended being backing their forces.

Well, imo... Daemons are quite underpowered. Severely. I would make'em something special... Maybe entirely different weapons, different motherships, and maybe even some sort of 'life force' which goes up and down depending on your 'activity' and how many troops you kill, which will give you temporary bonuses and stuff...
