I have just watched the first part of Dr who and i am loving it....i sort of got onto the fact that
the time lords would be reborn
but i am looking forward to next weeks episode...
I have read no spoilers so this is my guess...
I have a feeling that Wilf is a timelord and he will rember and he is the one who kills this doctor in order to save the World
And because of the return the new Doctor will be on the run from
the timelords who will blame him for the war where the all got wiped out
I know America is getting to watch it tomorrow so i don't want to spoil it for you guys....
I am most likely wrong but what do you guys think :D

Did you lol in a good way, or did you lol in a bad way?

He made the episode for me, anyway. The rest of it, I could take or leave. It just didn't feel as good as I wanted it to be, or as Tennant's swansong should have been, but I'm still optimistic about next time. The return of the Timelords could be a real gamechanger.

The animation of his Skull made me laugh in a bad way towards the show because of the level of CGI I believe it's called.

It doesn't look like a bad show to me though, if I could get into shows like that I'd probably watch it.

i believe the reason for the skull CGI animation being as it was, was a slight tribute to one of the masters forms in previous series

if you look at the above picture, there is a very strong resemblance of the skull animation to the top centre image

Here in Australia, I will be downloading it as soon as it comes out.

I would have used the TARDIS to travel forward and get Part 2 from the future, but I cannot travel to points along my own personal timeline.

Meh, the CGI in Doctor Who has always been cheesy. If you've watched the show for years, like I have, then you'll consider it part of the charm. I'll take good scriptwriting, decent acting and endearing characters over fancy techno gimmicks any day; and Doctor Who has all of the former in abundance.

I missed it....

...Just about to get it on with BBC i player...

I hope its as good as i hope, though im aware mordack is a true who fan and as such, its probally not the best by his reaction, That being said ive always been able to take or leave Dr Who, so for me its always just a bit of fun.

I think the new dr looks a bit more old school, i'll reserve judgement on what he's like once i've seen him in a few to make his mark, i enjoyed watching the last few Dr Who's as i hadn't seen any of it since it was brought back, really enjoyed it when i was younger, gonna see if i can watch all of the new stuff before the next Dr who episode at Easter i think it is. ~T~

A shame that in the end the use of the timelords was kind of wasted. Too much of the master, not enough Doctor.

Overall this two parter has been a let down, and since when has the Doctor been able to wander around the universe saying goodbye to everyone he has ever met before a regeneration.

Very disappointed. Worst regeneration ever. Even worse than the "Colin Baker" regeneration into Sylvestor McCoy. He deserved to go out with a bang not a wimper.

Last few "specials" have been quite poor in terms of story with the exception of Waters of Mars. Now if the woman captain of Mars had shot the Doctor at the end and thus sparked the regeneration (and surprised the fans who still expected David Tennant to continue into these specials) then it would have possibly been classic. But not this.

Very poor.

I am going to agree with most of you...it was poor....I am just hoping that the Timelords and the Master might return one day...But i doubt it as they is a new producer....I did see clips of the next series on BBC3 afterwards and it looks OK....I will wait to i have seen a few episodes before i bad mouth the new doctor....The best part of the end was when
the Doctor gave Donna the winning Lotto ticket for her wedding present
If you can travel though time thats what you want to be doing :smt047
