Whats the most over the top, over acted, slice of film ?
I think its in 300.
As Leonidas kicks the messenger into the pit and screams THIS IS SPARTTTAAA
I enjoy the film, but probably for the wrong reasons, I find it almost funny to watch how bad it is in places. There are brilliant fight scenes but I just can't look beyond the acting, its so hilarious.
Looking forward to seeing some more examples of bad and over the top acting.
Maybe Put some links to it ?

Re: Over the top ?
we agree, it was not really that good a movie...
we prefer the captioning we saw for that kicking thing somewhere on these forums instead... (Red sauce on pasta)

"Great holy armies shall be gathered and trained to fight all who embrace evil. In the name of the gods, Browsers shall be changed to carry the internet out amongst the peoples and we will spread Firefox to all the unbelievers. The power of the Firefox will be felt far and wide and the wicked users of IE shall be converted to use the true browsers."
Curious about our color? Feel free to ask...

Re: Over the top ?
Pretty much anything with Alan Rickman in it....but its always overacting at its best:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSUGp9Yz1sk
And of course his die hard death scene.....couldn't find a clip of that on youtube.
As for over the top in a bad way....hmm, will get back to you. Seen some pretty shocking stuff at times, but can't recall any atm.

Thanks to capitalism, when your doctor tells you you require a kidney transplant to survive, you no longer can be certain if you actually need a kidney transplant or your doctor simply needs a new speedboat. Nice.

Re: Over the top ?
I don't know but its probably true - like I say, its overacting but in a good way
This scene always struck me as hilariously over the top:
1.30 onwards: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HGTTqlQk ... 8&index=60
Sean Connery death scene in the Untouchables

"they may take our lives (dramatic pause), but they will never take (another dramatic pause, horse whinneying) our freedom!!!!!" (roars of aproval, waving of makeshift spears and bucklers)
intresting to compare it to the anti-climatic "you've bled with wallace, now bleed with me"

Obama would have done better :p
Although that being said he would have done better leading the Scottish into battle, and he would have been much better at kicking people into a large pit. And better at shooting Sean Connery with a tommy gun.

Re: Over the top ?
Over the top? Mmm..hard to say. There are a few.
Bruce Willis in his trilogy.
First time, it was like HELL YEAH MOTHER **Filtered**!
Next time it was like "Saw that coming."
Time after that it was like "Wow, really?"

Re: Over the top ?
The ending scene of the Mist....one of the worst (and most pointless) endings to a movie I have ever seen - over-acted, under-thought, generally **Filtered**.
Don't watch this clip if you're ever planning to watch the Mist (Major Spoilers - will ruin the already rubbish movie if you watch them and haven't seen it fully):
