Clash Of The Titans

How do you guys rate it?

I thought it was a pretty good movie but too short and felt that a lot of the time they rushed a few 'could be' epic scenes

Great up until the end of the first 'battle' with the Scorpions. After that? It's crap.

Pretty mediocre. Ralph Fiennes was good, though. Always is.

Re: Clash Of The Titans

My opinion it was pathetic attempt at a 3D movie, There was little as non 3D, Sure the cool DOLBY DIGITAL ad in 3D at the start and the Credit..
That was the only thing I saw.. Also i feel bad for the great actors (Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes) for putting their name in this.
Liam was very lame and pathetic as Zeus I expected him to be this tough bad ass leader kind of like Aslan..
He was nothing what i expected, just as the movie itself.

P.S Liam's suit hurt my eyes :o

Re: Clash Of The Titans

I saw it the other day and thought it was ok. It would of nice to see a longer fight between Perseus and King Calibos. Or even Zues vs Hades I mean why not have some Gods fight each other.

Io was her name, and I agree with you. They said the princess was most beautiful woman...but I wonder if Io wasn't better. :-k

Movie was good, I liked it, but that's probably because I <3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3 this kind of movies. :-)
Krachen was not disappointing, as an "expert" of monster cheap movies, I can say I was glad to see a monster of that size that didn't seem false or obvious computer-made.

I also loved the fight against Medusa and the scorpion. I like when movies provide you what you want to see. Such as an epic way to kill enemy.
The Djinns weren't bad either...

Re: Clash Of The Titans

Terrible movie. They focused too much on making it a remake, including going so far as to do a lot of the same camera angles and shots from the original film. They destroyed Greek mythology!

"The Kraken" was actually a giant sea serpent known as Cetus. Cetus had a mouth, The Kraken of mythology does not.
Perseus set out on his quest to bring back Medusa's head so that he could save his mother from marriage to a king he disliked and only happened across the problem with Andromeda and the Cetus problem on his way back, and there was no Orc-like evil would-be father out to kill him.
Io had absolutely nothing to do with Perseus or this story. In fact, she is eventually the mother of Zeus's children Epaphus and some female I can't recall.
Medusa lived in a palace-like place, not some rubble hovering over a lava pit.

The camera work was shotty at best. The only good lines were the one liners dealt out by the old soldier. And the best character was Draco, the soldier in charge of their group.

I enjoyed the movie. But I am sure glad that I saw it for free, because it really wasn't worth $9.

Re: Clash Of The Titans

I have seen two of the lead guys movies and i want the 6+hours of my life back....This movie was crap....I don't get this 3D rubbish they keep throwing at us...Avatar never ended and the plot was weak..this movie was crap...bad everything and the 3D was not that good and as for the other 3D movie Alice...i can't swear on here so i will leave it at that :(
The only good 3D thing i have ever seen is the Spiderman ride at one of the theme parks in Orlando..
My advice is to watch the old movie of this film :-D

Re: Clash Of The Titans

The old one was made back in 1981...back when a 6 inch model tore down buildings and skeletons ran with sword and sheild could put up a fight....I would watch that over the new one any day.....also back in 1981 this was state of the art movie going along with the up and comming 3D...yes 3D was around in the 80's and it sucked then :-D

Re: Clash Of The Titans

Terrible movie. Was expecting alot more from this. There was very little 3D. (im not a big fan of 3D but if its advertised 3D it should be 3D :). )

Liam Nelson was terrible in it. So many characters that were in it that are never mentioned in the origional story.

Just a dissapointing movie
