My WW1 based poem, done in my english class is titled "Morning Hate" which is the 2minutes of fire at around 9am I think between the Tommy's and the Huns.

It is being published for the young writers competition I entered it in, The book it will be in is called: Past Poets - Future Voices UK inspirations. it is scheduled for publication on 31st July 2010.

I am extremely proud of this tbh. its my 10th piece of published work, my 3rd published poem.

Moaning and groaning, like a cat. Trapped

Outside

Rusty guns shouting

Never-ending, never finishing like Iyaz's iPod stuck on replay.

I know it will not end, this Hell-Hole I'm stuck in

Not regretting, not even fighting, you cowardly leaders. Just pointing the army and saying Shoot!

God save the Queen? GOD SAVE ME!



Hell, there's the light, I'll reach it soon

And escape my life, the living hell

congrats. glad to hear of another person getting a poem published. a teacher entered aboot 5 or so of mine in a contest. all of them would have been published would i have allowed it, but im not a touchy-feely-share your feelings guy, more like a quiet romantic

but congrats regardless, its impressive especially considering your age. post it up so i can read it.

Congrats man! That's something to be really proud of. Get off your lasy butt and write it up for us to read.
