welcome to era 23 - Racial Profiling

ok -first off, congratulations to the top of era 22...not an easy era to stay in the spotlight!! :)

Era 23 has been done. I do not expect any/many bugs, as mostly it was removing the antimatter from the gutters, and creating some hate :) The game updates has the details.

I would like to take this era, and find some 'quick wins' on the balance, interface or other small but not-looked-at-for-a-while items. For example, I am updating the market goods/quantities that your supporter status gives you. (everyone should have ss now, that played last era...)
I will list then tackle these in the first week or so - I will not do 'huge game affecting' changes, or new features. Just tweak/balance/adjust existing, like the market gives...
I am open to suggestions on these :) else I will dig the threads and use my notes/memory/common sense from past eras.

As always - report bugs, and good luck!!! I think this should be a fun era...make some good alliance/race pacts, and you should do very well :)

have a backup in the odd chance something goes terribly terribly wrong (not that that has ever happened ;) )

Nothing major, attacking still works... but instead of an attack log we get:

I agree with S1eepy. It's a pain in the butt.

Other than this my suggestion is - decrease the number of ATs on market. To be honest even if you took all of them away, just kept the 1k you could get weekly using bonus would be nice as it'd add in a nice strategic view of playing the game. Those of us that are 'old' enough to remember what it was like when ATs were very limited and how to make the most out of the limited ATs you have.
That way also the thousands and thousands of AT that just come on your account won't be such a pain to use with the attack limiter (it still needs to be changed though, especially when it comes to massing someone who's online).

Other than this, the attack bug Hippy already pointed out has to be fixed because it's ugly and really bothers probably everyone, some ME back might be nice too :)

You can drop the amount of turns , to 1000 extra per week, + the SS, and then get ride of the 5 second rule, cause then people won't have the turns to blow through as much.

Make the number of hits per 30 seconds "reasonable." A trained monkey could hit more than 5 farms in 30 seconds. I do not know how many everyone else can hit in that time span but somewhere around doubling-ish of that number of hits in 30s would make it fair and reasonable. And yes, 2k+ daily turns, plus the naturally generated ones if you stick below 2k total is way too much to use (as proved by half or more of the active players having 10k+ left unused at the end of last wave).

i think i misunderstood this wave, i thought it was that if say an asgard attacks a goa'uld theres no stat differnce, BUT the goa'uld takes 2 times the normal damage.

yet i look in combat log and instead of that its doubling the actual #'s so 20 mil attack turns into 40 mil.

did i just misunderstand or is something borked?
