Powerful Front Men

Who in your opinion in the history of music had the power to carry an entire band forward for lack of other words in my mind :-D
Who had the power to change the image of a band or genre of music as a whole?

I say this with 3 people in mind

Freddie Mercury
Frank Sinatra
Johnny Cash

There are others but I think the power these three carried is very hard to match in any form of music
