I spent the last 2 & 1/2 days blowing past 27 episodes of this series and I'm kinda hooked. This is an anime about wizards and wizard guilds, specifically the Guild "Fairy Tail". The animation is a lot like One Piece and it's enjoyable so far.

The manga is really good as well, i watched the first few eps of the anime and will go back to it later i think. Tis very good.

Where is the anime upto?

I could never watch it..it just seemed..girly. A few friends of mine have watched it. Is it ..not girly? Have I judged wrong?!

yeh it came across as a similar-to-yet-nowhere-near-as-good-as copy/clone/imitation on One Piece

Eh, I wouldn't say it's girly, I mean, the name... does make it sound girly XD but it's not half bad. it takes it's sweet ass time building up the characters but since like episode 10 it's pretty much been fight fight fight!

I would say take a chance watch the first 10 episodes and see what you think of it, If you can't really bear it, skip ahead. A few more episodes in and the fights start to get really awesome. The series really sets off after the 10th Episode tho.

[spoiler]The element 4 just got beaten and Natsu is fighting the iron dragon slayer dude, he just ate the fire and is kicking ass, also Erza is fighting the Phantom Lord guilds leader.[/spoiler]

anyways, thats at episode 27, I have like 5 more episodes to go till I'm caught up, but thats about where the anime is

Ah cool, yeah the manga is really far ahead. Watched some of the anime last night, skipped first 20 or so episodes because i wasnt a massive fan of the demon island ark.

yeah, the guild war ark is pretty awesome tho.

Alright, I SHALL! If you have lied to me..prepare to lose a leg..or both.

XD like the day after I said that... I saw a girly episode but Lucy got a kick ass spirit out of it. and like the episode after that things went crazy again and many more fights are on the horizon lol.

Ahaha, the ending of last weeks episode... and the first 3/4ths of this weeks episode was... girly XD I mean really girly! XD but it was a transition episode from 1 ark to a new ark, this new ark does look good though lol.

Enjoying it a lot. I've been off uni for the past week and a have due to an infection, so I spent some time reading the manga. Pleasent experience.
