SUGGESTIONS main bonuses depending on ascended race

Well, the tau'ri were able to defeat the priors, which are one step to ascension. So I think that only from real ascension may an ascended being be a threat that big to the non-ascended.
E.g. From Living God + = threat to non-ascended/partly ascended

Also, there should be path-based modifications.
Such as, Ori LG+ get +0.1% of all stats for every lower than Living God being that chose the path of the Ori.
The Ajna LG+ should get +0.0001% of all stats for every turn they are peaceful (no attack)
The Indu LG+ should get +0.00001% of all stats for every 1mil def+covert power
The Tolah LG+ should get +0.0001% of all stats for every turn used.

Eh, that's... not the meaning of this topic. Hence why I am splitting.

On a personal note, I think you'd unbalance the game even further. :shock:

So with being completely peaceful. I have to wait 1,000 turns in order to get the same bonus as an Ori.


1,000 turns = 20.833333333333333333333333333333 days


No thanks, you need to balance this a bit better.

Yeah, let's just say this is HUGELY bias towards the Ori and concidering you can't change ascended race everyone that didn't pick Ori in the last 5+ years because ascended race meant sweet f a is screwed.

I just put out random values in there, the number of .0's isn't relevant in my suggestion. I just thought that it would be far more "realistic" towards the SG universe.

Actually I would like to see some sort of variety between the ascended races, and also having non-ascended races almost as powerful as ascended at the same costs.

I would say that non ascended should have two more weapons in armory arsenal, which would balance the attack&defense of all units to be similar if not same with the attack&defense of an ascended being who holds the same number of units and max weapons.

E.g.
1st unascended weapon - cost ~500k naq/piece
2nd unascended weapon - cost ~1mil naq/piece, power equivalent to the ascended max weapon.

1st unascended weapon would get like, 2nd unascended weapon's power minus a few or so.

After all, unascended races did get hold of ascended tech. See Dr. Jackson's activity for references.

races were kick off some time ago thats why admin let players customize their race

That doesn't mean you can't customise the race by personality. Like hostile etc.

Maybe been suggested before but depending which path you take, you get additional bonuses in main on top of what you get already (BASE VALUES)

Ori = 3% UP--------------Worshipping based
Anja = 3% Defence--------Science based
Tolah = 3% attack---------Attack based
Indu = 3% Covert----------Mystic based

The % can be modified as players thoughts
These can be added to those currently ascended.

I would say re-distribution, not MORE additions...

eg:
Ori = +3% UP--------------Worshipping based
but -1% attack (to busy worshipping to attack)

3% UP
-2% atk (same reason as stated by sarevok)
-1% def (all priors and stuff are offworld, recruiting)

i like the idea of a bonus based on ascended path with a equal negitive bonus. ie +3% bonus, -3% bonus (either devided or one stat)
