why not just give people the choice of upgrading a planet to a dual resource for a certain amount of naq/turns/merlins/etc?

Anything that reduces unit losses is ruining the game. So remove the MSs too. At least new players can buy decent planets, they can't buy a decent MS, unless they buy an accountNimras wrote:No i take this stance because Planets are 1 of the factors ruining this game.

Actually MS did not ruin the game when it came out. And yes MS takes time to build. Not really as UP and NAQ planets are stolen often as well. As far i am concerned this is a good and fair update if merlin doese not help your planet to do anything. Else you could do the first 24 hours a planet is merlined it gives a bonus after that it don't and then say it cost xx amount to merlin and unmerlin make it costly but after 24 hours cheap and no bonus.I honestly don't see the problem of being able to merlin 2 planets. Difference IS when your MS is out then it DOESE not help in a fight nor doese i contribute to ANYTHING but your Rank.
Where when a PLANET is merlined it help you in a fight meaning it take alot of your def or strike and cost your less losses agianst a enemy who lose more. If the planets on Merlin did not help the player in battle then i do not have a problem with them getting the bonus for RANK only. But no help in battle when on merlin.

Explain to me 1 thing. So I understand. 2 planets, both atk/def duals, can add a maximum of 100% stats to your attack and defence (these can't be merlined all the time, unless you have reserves, so they are not 100% safe). 1 mothership can add 100% stats to your attack and defence. As your defence/attack is massed, planet effectiveness is reduced. A MSs ability to add power to the realm is reduced also, but is still able to use it's full power to weaken/negate an enemy MS. So 1 MS is better to have then 2 dual atk/def planets. So why are you wanting to nerf them further?

Cost to repair 2 500b/500b atk def duals? The defence parts each costs 240T. The attack parts, 150T.
Don't you think for the cost of 780T naq to repair, VS 2.3T, that they should be able to operate through it?
I'm not talking about logic wise, but cost/risk wise.
I was going to use a similar theory, but went with cost based instead. Lol sure if it was free then why not. But the fact is Blessing is something that is a % of chance to get when ascended. MS send away doese not fight for you at all no matter what. Why should a planet on merlin hiden away so no one can steal it still give you army a breake in the war helping taking your enemy down while hiden so no one can take it and relieve you of the bonus?Because it's what you could consider a unique attribute with unique abilities. Yes but back then PLANETS couldn't be merlined that came after the game peaked because a few whiners went to admin saying NOT FAIR we can't protect our planets we want help.
He made Merlin and now everyone hides their best planet away and enjoy that its still helping them when waring.
The fact still remains a MS send away doese not help you in a war a planet on merlin should therefore not help you either.
If you want to use your planet or MS you need to keep them at home and at risk to be destroyed. Thats it.
And my reasons are actually based on the right things

Planets
*1 market turn can be used to generate 3 days of power to a MPDSD.
Planets can use MPDSDs (Merlins Planerary Dimensional Shifting Device) to put them out of this dimensional phase, thereby protecting them from attack. Benefits are still obtained (since you are in control of the device, you can momentarily unphase when required).

One gets temporarily crippled for a maximum repair cost of like 3T naq.
