Good episode this week, good last week.. good before the mid season. This season is head and shoulders above the last but with the second half of the series picking up a season and a half of true slack it's all too little too late.

I'd have easily taken an extra season of Atlantis over all this.

interesting episode this week... though lacking in some areas...

[spoiler]Why, if they were exposed to those lethal levels of radiation, were there no marks, what so ever on their bodies? Yes, they "replaced" the actors for convenience, but there should still have been at least some marks to indicate radiation sickness...

And on that holographic shield... Why didn't they stick their face into it to actually view the bomb?

But enough with the critique... its good that they finally made something of that over-hanging lucian alliance threat...

Zeratul, In answer to your question

[spoiler]Radiation sickness doesnt show any outwards signs really for the first few hours. The most they would probably have noticed is nausea. Burns on your skin etc like Daniel showed when he died in the 5th season of SG-1 are generally only seen as a result of contact exposure, not environment exposure.[/spoiler]

That part about those senators is probably true... But then, as the level of importance increases and the knowledge spreads, so will the effort needed to keep it secret increase exponentially...

We have a feeling that the bombing is just a minor part of it... It is far too primitive to be a long-planned operation by an entire Lucian alliance clan...[/spoiler]

or if it was, then not big enough to get your head and hands through at the same time[/spoiler]

another possibility is that the shield isnt like an eggshell, but rather like a tank of water... filling the entire space it contains with holographic distortions...[/spoiler]
