[spoiler]I expected Sasuke to turn around all along. He was never meant to die at the hands of Naruto, or anyone else.

Their relationship was an event of history repeating its self--a repeat of the relationship their masters had, Jiraiya and Orochimaru. Friends, torn apart by different beliefs, and unable to reconcile.

Jiraiya always understood that Naruto could by far surpass him when it came to charisma and standing up for his beliefs, and Naruto believed from the start that, even if he had to beat the ever loving crap out of Sasuke, they were friends and they would sort it out again one day. Even Itachi left Sasuke in Narutos hands. Everyone knew that Sasuke could be saved, except Sasuke himself.

But!

Sasuke for Hokage? Campaign slogan: "I don't care what you think."

THAT is unexpected, and absolutely, positively hilarious.

Also, Naruto claiming Sakura as his girlfriend in front of his dad, and in front of her, was golden. [/spoiler]

[spoiler]Compare Hinata's daughter, with Naruto's son. Then catch the reference made with Sakura's daughter.

Bolt/Boruto, and Himawari have the same color eyes(blue), and cheek marks. Whereas Sakura's daughter's eyes are black, when Sakura's eyes are green. And the last panel of the image linked is clearly Sasuke, with Sakura's daughter Salad implying that she misses her father... (zoom to sasuke).[/spoiler]

The movie will cover how they get together, but all the pieces are laid out in the last chapter.
