Only two ascended paths ( like in StarGate )

Anyway, this will make the game more like Stargate and i bet MGM won't mind us having only two paths.

What about anubis, he was niether.

Anubis was daimon.

Or wait, was he. He still had 'access' to the ascended plane didn't he? Daniel Jackson definitely became a Daimon (went up, came falling back down - naked *squee*).

Yes Anubis was a daimon and Jackson was never he just decided to return to human form and leave the ascended plane not just stuck as half and half.

But he still possessed certain knowledge of the ascended. If what you're saying though is correct, the logic of the actual game is flawed as Daimons leave the ascended plane entirely.

If a Daimon is completely unascended, then Anubis was not Daimon, and I guess Daniel Jackson would be considered one. Anubis was half ascended, half not. He was a form of energy but required a host to interact with the physical world.


Also, it was a bit unclear that Daniel Jackson had memories from being ascended. He had dreams, etc., but he didn't have full knowledge.

I like being Ajna and that would give MGM a new reason to scream about copyright again...

I don't think MGM would mind this Ancients could refer to other things.

Anyway, it will be cool to be

I'd forgotton that episode... *searches through DVD cabinet*

simplifying the pathways would definitly help, its a very complex game, and simplifying a few such things will make it more appealing to newbies.

and personally, I'd like the option to change your path generally, just once at least, since when we made our accounts (well, those like me who had never heard of gatewars prior to joining) we had no idea what we were chosing

Well there's a problem with it considering one of the four ascended races are Ancients.

Ancients follow their own path:)
