Why has this thread not been closed ???

There is NO war between FS and King Me ( aka Almost38 )

There is NO vendetta between Brother and King Me ( aka Almost38 )

The issue was resolved yesterday and changed to a Vendetta between Dexter and King Me ( aka Almost38 ) with a new thread in the correct area.

I requested in thread that is be closed twice, once when the issue was resolved and once 15 hours later

Brother the author of the thread has asked for it to be closed

The thread is totally off topic with at least 90% of posts being about TAF, FS new approach to war, Killz attempting to start a war between FS and DDE, and various spam.



So please can any Mod tell me why it is still open and in the GC ???

Because its like watching a short bus in train wreck lol

Usually people just post in those threads to say they can be closed. Reports are a last resort..

Fine, me, Brother, Coyla, and ( Harch on behalf of Ricos & Almost38 ) all requested it be closed in the thread.

I now officially ask Mods direct to close it since it is not a war, should not be in the GC, and is full of off topic spam and unrelated arguments.



I know FS drama is very entertaining and increases forum activity, but thats no reason to ignore the rules.

He did not say it is against the rules. The rule he speaks of is rule 4.c, specifically the unwritten addendum which states that thread authors can request a lock, and that it is up to the moderators to either lock it or not, depending on the thread's value to the community. (*grin* Haha, referring to unwritten things. How cool is that.) In the GC, it has been practiced that requested locks are usually granted. Of course, there could be a reason not to.

They are. But in the GC, you will find very few of those.

I would suggest a post count of how many posts are on topic, very few, the rest should be in the cleaned and dumped. Even the ones on topic are about a fight that has been moved to Vendetta between Dex and Almost so the thread is redundant.

Also both sides of the original thread have confirmed it has been resolved/moved and the author requested it be closed due to being over.

Or I'm busy away from the forums. Next time just report the thread and either myself or another General Mod will lock it. Posting in the thread to have it closed can be lost when multiple posts follow after it. I've locked the thread now.
