Rules should be there to prevent or punish serious offences.

So what if something is a bit harder on a phone, that's your choice to use a phone.

@Jo switch off sigs then.

Double posting, yeah thats fine. Triple, quadruple, more... bit excessive don't you think?

Re: Double posting

Additionally. Suggesting that regular people should change their settings to cater to sub-standard browsers is just 00RA00-like tomfoolery.

Edit: DAMN, I can't even doublepost in this thread with you lot spamming so hard about how oh-so-cool it is to doublepost.

Edit2: ^_^ /discussion, I won.

Re: Double posting

I believe the against double posting is a standard on most forums.

Also, I have seen quite a few posts with people with phones starting there post like:

"I havent read all the pages as I am on my phone"

People with phones already neglect to read everything as its hard for them to do.
Now they need to make more posts, because making them is difficult for a few ?

Perhaps qoutes should be disabled for phone browsers?

Re: Double posting

For your information:
One common faux pas on Internet forums is to post the same message twice. Users sometimes post versions of a message that are only slightly different, especially in forums where they are not allowed to edit their earlier posts. Multiple posting instead of editing prior posts can artificially inflate a user's post count. Multiple posting can be unintentional; a user's browser might display an error message even though the post has been transmitted or a user of a slow forum might become impatient and repeatedly hit the submit button. Multiple posting can also be used as a method of trolling or spreading forum spam. A user may also send the same post to several forums, which is termed crossposting. The term derives from Usenet, where crossposting was an accepted practice but causes problems in web forums, which lack the ability to link such posts so replies in one forum are not visible to people reading the post in other forums. This is often done by people who are too cheap to use proper equipment while browsing the internet.

Re: Double posting

You must be tripping if you honestly think that multiple posts in a row by the same person doesn't clutter up the forum and make reading everything annoying.

Thats FAR from the truth. People on the internet will fuss about much worse things. Double posting is annoying and imo, inexcusable.

If you, or anyone has that great concern over it, then you may pm Zeratul about it.

This is a better forum to bring forth suggestions and discussions, this section was created for threads like these. Zeratul maybe awesome and you master but he is not forum god
