Un-killable Units

As many of you are most likely aware, when you mass someone, you are able to destroy all the weapons, but often defence units are unkillable (something like 17 normal soldiers, and 37 super), and a similar thing happens when attacking and loosing (you don't loose those last few).

Should these be killable do you think? I personally think yes, and that it's silly that there can be like 50+ units hang around that can't be killed.

What are people's thoughts

I think that was implemented to keep new players who start out eager, from totally decimating themselves.

It makes sense for some troops to remain, its hard to kill an entire army. However with enough persistence you should be able to get it down to zero.

Exactly my line of thinking. It would be like 20% chance that you would kill 1-2 units under the threshold.

If that's true, why is it like 17 and 37? And not something else more even like 15? or 10? I always thought it was some kind of percentage bug.

I have to ask, why does this need to be changed? Is it impacting on the game in any way, shape, or form?

Perhaps you don't realise this is for a different version of the game called Origins? ;)

As a result, I wanted to see what people thought about it, since it can be removed early in the process, instead of being expected for over 6 years.

If your going to do something like this I think you should make it worthwhile to do so, just to reach 0 with extra effort should have its reward

Like in main, you get ME well what about something like, you get the defense to 0 and you double your ME from the duration of the current attack, ie only what has been destroyed in that 30 mins between turns.

It would encourage the attacker to work harder in that 30 mins that say over couple of hours

i have always thought it would be cool to decimate an army then try to rob their bank

Hehe, now THAT'S an interesting idea... Would encourage defence too.

If you don't have any form of defence for 12 hours, your bank starts to leak at 1% of maximum capacity/turn.
