Anyone else here addicted to Subaru's? I've had 3 turbocharged Scooby's past few years. I'm hooked.
First one, model year 2003 2.0L turbo
Second one, 2.5L Turbo Model year 2000 but engine 2007
And my current one:
I had an old thread here somewhere about the cars owned by SGW players. Time for a new one. What are your favorites and how's your garage looking? And what do you think of mine?
Any Scooby (Subaru) / Car junkie's out there?

Re: Any Scooby (Subaru) / Car junkie's out there?
I don't mind subarus, but I tend to prefer larger cars.
Cant say much in terms of having a "nice" car, mine is considered average-junk over here, but really, it's a great value car, decent engine, not many people are interested in stealing them etc.
A 1997 Mitsubishi Magna (third gen). The Americans here will know it as the 2nd gen Diamante. It has a 6G72 motor (the 3.0L V6 from the 3000GT/GTO), so while it has more power than an equivalent Holden Commodore (which the V6 models use a buick 3800 motor, a 3.8L V6), it's considerably lighter. As opposed to equivalent Ford Falcons, those being over 200kg heavier.
TLDR, it's pretty light, and pretty zippy considering how big/old it is.

Beli drives a nice subaru car. I grew up in a small town in alaska where all the greenies/hippies drove subaru's like outbacks and stuff. I'm kind of scarred from that.

Had no idea Beli had such a good taste.
Solus, it must spend some gas though? I 'm assuming it's automatic, what are you spending on cash per month?
I haven't had much experience with those engines but what I do know is that when I did try it out, cruising in the city I spent about the same amount on gas as my Ford F150 5,4L V8 Triton did. It's nuts!

Huge Scooby fan, haven't had the pleasure of owning one yet.
That new BRZ looks sexy although I'm not sure if I'd rather have that or the Toyota 86
