I think the refs really messed up the final play of that game. Opinions?

Clearly made the wrong call, the NFL is about to go under fire if they don't get the refs back soon

(Dutch here, but I like reading the news, hope I am right: )
NFL refs are on strike due to NFL not paying them enough (in their opinion).
NFL says "Fine, screw you, we will just substitute you, there are hundreds of referees all across the various Leagues, we do not need you."
NFL gets referees from Sunday, Minor and Lingerie League (not sure which is which except the lingerie one, heh) to fill in for the regular referees.

Crazy calls like in Seahawks vs Packers **Filtered** up the game for fans and players alike.

I read that the regular referees have a collective experience of 1500 years (that is all their years of reffing together); throwing that away for money is just .. bad judgement. :|

Mind you I only got the referees' side of the story, NFL is not quoted around here. :) Probably a lot more going on.

Seahawks fan here, but Jennings clearly had full possession. Tate had an arm on it and they called it dual possession, which by league rules give possession to Tate. Man if this kind of crap keeps up, the NFL will be brought to it's knees. The refs are going to end up getting payed more than the players to come back LOL.

This crap's been going on for years. It's just no one cared because it was happening to the Raiders.

so yeah, since interceptions now equal touchdowns, Brett Favre is going to make another comeback
