Then lets hope you are simply wrong and the people abused can get some relief in knowing that the conception of somebody being a good guy is in fact completely incorrect. If others get brought down too, more the better.

If it doesn't, at minimum we will find out about Jimmy, that's something if not enough.

RUMOURS about Jimmy Savile circulated among broadcasters for years but were thought too dark to be true, TV’s Eamonn Holmes said yesterday.

Eamonn, 52, said one even suggested Savile was a necrophiliac. He added: “That was so ridiculously outrageous you could never believe it.”

The father of four added: “You could look at Jimmy Savile as an eccentric — now you just look upon him as something out of a horror movie.”

evidence should come first, not accusations.

that's how people in the real world avoid getting mocked,

i dont get why people are blaming the bbc, when the girls who were to blame didnt come forward while jimmy was alive so they could personally prosecute the prick.

Also, yes.. but as far as I can imagine, coming out with "OMG this guy touched/raped me" is not the easiest thing to say. (It might be *too* easy after the culprit perishes though.)

People did try to expose him on more than just 1 occasion. some people even reported him to the police as well as the BBC. on all occasions it was buried.
