why has belsamber been banned ?? literally he is the most polite and civilised person on this forum, haz what is wrong with you ??

Not a god on forums, merely a mod admin

He was banned because of a third warning. Another Admin was busy and couldn't ban so I stepped in for them. Merely following procedure.

Next time, please PM before you decide to accuse me.

1 warning for not changing his signature (a stupid rule which shouldn't be a rule)
1 warning for profanity in a picture he linked (a stupid rule which shouldn't be a rule)
1 questionable warning for masking

3 warnings, you're banned. Does that answer your question?

Masking = warning. Hardly questionable. (Although I would personally not be opposed to modifying that protocol.)

The questionable part was whether or not it was masking, since he used a slang term (which I assume he made up on the spot) and didn't try and use the actual curse word.

As I've said before, I keep forum and ingame separate. I couldnt care if they were DDE, OE, or even HVE (I've modded them quite a few times...copped some crap from them for it, but oh well )

Why are you on the forums if you spend your entire day complaining on them? Doesn't DDE have their own forums?

Haz' ability to take crap from most people (including me, on occasion) is almost as advanced as my own. *grin* I think your statement should be inverted: "I am not surprised you are a Mod with the amount of crap you can take."


However, to dismiss every DDE complaint as 'crap' is unprofessional AND does not do justice to some legitimate complaints they have.
I personally think some people should leave modding certain people to others.

because i refuse to give in to haz and let him take the forums for himself , this should be the peoples forum not haz's

No, there is no rule that says anything remotely similar to "this must be PG-13."

and I dunno I just think it's stupid, I haven't thought about it enough to be able to say why.

I didn't even know he was a DDE member, I don't keep track of who is in what alliance on here (forum - ingame - separate). I saw a user who had 3 accrued warnings, and another mod/admin requested them to be banned. I obliged. If it were any of my friends ingame, I would have done the same.
