Tom cruise is Jack reacher... overall a good film not the best but not the worst and it was fun to watch... tom cruise acting very good..

I was unimpressed by this one. It was billed as an action, but behaved much more like a conspiracy movie...which lacked any major conspiracy. I feel like the buildup was a lot more fun/intense than the climax.

Tom Cruise looks great (big surprise), but I found his acting to be rather...average. By that, I mean that nothing set this role apart from his other action films. There was a distinct lack of dimension/substance to his Jack Reacher portrayal. The film may have been better if someone else were in the role. I couldn't buy his military background and commendations.

Still a decent movie. I'd probably give it a 5.5/10.
