Who do you think among these current leaders would make the best theoretical "world leader"?

since both Bush and Obama have been indicted as war criminals by a congressional panel, neither 1 is eligible for high office.

Vladimir Putin, hands down leagues ahead of the rest. :)

And then there is François Hollande, stuck somewhere in the gutter near Fleet Street, London in 1870. He would be well suited for World's Toilet Cleaner.

Angela Merkel (Germany)
PRO: Excellent result-minded leader, great motivator and diplomatically gifted.
CON: Germany will need another century of dealing with hypocrisy before it is allowed to provide a theoretical World Leader, and no muslim nation is going to accept a female World Leader.
Barack Obama (USA)
PRO: Decent public speaker.
CON: Hypocritical when it comes to war, religion, civil rights. Outside of a small core group, no respect in the rest of the world. American, which is the new German.
David Cameron (UK)
PRO: Excellent public speaker, jack-of-all-trades and diplomatically gifted.
CON: Britain wants too badly to restore her former might. It shows. Also too much a sheep following US foreign policy.
François Hollande (France)
PRO: ...
CON: His person, his ideology, his convictions and his behaviour both as President of France and as member of the Assemblée.
Shinzō Abe (Japan)
PRO: Excellent result-minded leader and diplomatically gifted.
CON: Japan, like Germany, is unlikely to provide a World Leader. Abe is tainted by mismanagement of disasters and a lack of control of his semi-government.
Silvio Berlusconi (Italy)
PRO: Fun, exciting and controversial.
CON: Fun, exciting and controversial. Also not the best economic genius; though a great capitalist.
Vladimir Putin (Russia)
PRO: Excellent result-minded leader, excellent public speaker, man of the people, hero of the anti-Superpower Revolution, great motivator, economic and diplomatic genius.
CON: The West looks with suspicion and envy, and Cold War propaganda is still alive in the minds of many Westerners.
Xi Jinping (China)
PRO: Excellent result-minded leader, excellent public speaker and diplomatically independent.
CON: China has been isolationist for too long to now be considered a truly global player in diplomacy, although asserting itself as such more and more, it will take 20 more years before most of the World would follow a Han.
