Weapons

So just wondering if you guys could give me some advice as to which weapons to go with?
I see some people are going with the weaker weapons is there any reasons for this?

Naq/power ratio is better
With the current availability of units I'd say third best works nicely, or second. Depends how you like your units

In short, the cheaper weapons give "more bang for buck", their power vs naq ratio is better, as JasonJay said, while they require more units to reach the same power.. So the weapons choice depend on your tactics and naq/UU availability throughout the era
