Doesn't that defeat the idea of giving new players a chance not to be decended.

Don't know which info you've been reading, but that was never the idea.
A final decision on whether or not they had to have one was just never made.
Now it has.

i think its only a 3% difference and a bigger chance of AB kicking in but TBH you i doubt you would see that much difference... plus you get that ascended account would be a lot of work to make it powerful enough to stand a chance against somebody trying to decend you.

I'm not going to ascend my NG as i think the outway con's the pro's!

Existing accounts without ascended won't be forced one way or the other, but new ascensions need at least 1 natural.

When did that change my NG acc is like a month old and I did all 3 market bought.
