Cap think you might try something new and instead of just removing/deleting what you consider to be discussions about things you create a new topic out of it. It can be done.

Seeing as how this was in Q, I figured I would update this so that people knew/understood that.

Moved to Talk to the Mods Direct, as this post speaks addresses a moderator directly, and does not involve Ingame Quantum activities.

No posts were deleted.

The purpose of Game Cop Section is the reporting of cheaters, account issues and bugs. The thread in question had devolved into bickering between individuals with various grudges, and tempers flaring.

Last time this happened, I let it go on, and two people were warned for masking. Who coincidentally, both complained about i) being warned for swearing & ii) the topic being left open as long as it was.

The paradox of moderating is that you can never 'win'. No matter which way you lean (lenient or minimalist ) there will always be complaints.

All you can do is try and treat each individual, and topic, the same as any other.

Ok, I can say that yes I did see a bit of tempers but more over things were being brought back to a normal tone.
I will concede this point as right now I don't have anything to offer as a alternative.

caprilla is one of the more respect worthy mods, hell she trained me how to do it. I would trust her judgement for what should or should not be in a section.

Yes, her judgement is impeccable. Removing something I wrote under the pretense of it being spam, when in fact it was a criticism that proved to be very, very right (the game not being balanced, auto ascensions ruining the game, which it showed at the end when all the active players were at level 10 and inactives were at level 9), well I don't call that a good judgement. Especially when the ending could have been avoided if Haz saw what I wrote
