Ok, finally got around to 'fixing' it.

It will display the liklihood of you winning a tournament based on your previous matches by comparison of (sum of places)/(sum of tournies played).

e.g.
I play 5 tournaments and I gain: 1st place, 4th, 20th, 3rd, 6th which equates to a divisor of 34/5 or 6.8

In comparison to Support who plays 2 tournaments and comes out with: 10th, 7th equating to 17/2 or 8.5

Hence, I would be rank 1 and support rank 2.
Obviously, if someone were to play 1 tournament and nabbed say 4th place, they have divisor of 4 letting them be rank 1.
So the more tournaments you play the more accurate your ranking (though of course some people have the same ranking (divisor) which is why the ranks go well into a few thousand).

What do you mean?

Tourney rank is on the rank summary for the realm page, and also appears in the top 10.

A button in above the cosmos ranking: Arena rankings

So instead of only top 10, able to show all. (or a button in the arena to show the entire arena rankings) And without the cloaking the top 10 does.


Current top 10 is kinda useless, looking at those not cloaked.

Sol, can you adjust the sorting for the displayed top 10 Tournament ranks, it currently shows the 10 lowest ranks which is not all that helpful.

I could limit it to only rank after x amount of tournaments played...but it would be very arbitrary.

U only show in the rankings if u have played 10 matches, then the adv from that would give a better reading.

But u said that so idk

Why not 20? or 4? .

I think after about 3 it should be sufficient to provide your average rank. You would be lucky to get 3 high ranks as "one-off's"

Teesdale has made me have a thing about stuff ending in 0's so had to be either 10 or 20 , 30 just seems a bit to much.

Ok this is changed to now only rank after 3 tournaments have been completed.
Arena #8 was not included as well (the server war), quite heavily and unfairly skewed the averages.

Overall the arena ranks look a bit better.

As a refresher, the arena rank is based on the sum total of the ranks the player achieves in every tournament divided by the tournaments played. I.e the average.
You can find your average rank and tournaments played on the 'top 10' page, and your sum total rank.

For instance I'm currently ranked 113 with an average rank of 47.25 with a total of 36 tournaments played, which means my sum total rank was 47.25*36 = 1701. If you don't have a whole number (as you would expect) it was most likely due to rounding (2 decimal places).
