Just ascended to level 17. Put 15k into higgs units and left it a couple of hours and only getting 356 points a turn.

Cleared cache blah blah and still the same.

Something not right

Update - doubled the number of higgsfolk. Now getting 30k a turn. Not sure if that is correct but it's an improvement.

UPDATE/EDIT - trained another 13k and now getting 31k higgs a turn. Lol. What is happening?

Ascension helpers are only useful up to 33% of your total population (since August 2012).

Ah. Crap. That might explain something.

I'll keep throwing units at miners for a bit and see how it goes.

I trust it works as expected, locking this, we can re-open if it doesn't.

I ascended last night and am now level 18.

I heeded your advice from last time regarding the upto 33% with research units. So, ignoring the MS crew you start of with, I just go at a ratio of miners:0.5*researchers

Which is 2 parts income, 1 part researcher of course.

I fiddled with training very small numbers of troops, getting to 100 higgs per turn before using my market turns to acquire troops and seemingly everything was working. The game was showing the updated calculation instantly. Having then trained 30k miners and 15k researchers, I somehow end up at 395 per turn.

Waited for a turn change, nothing. Waited for the second coming of Jesus, nothing. Trained a handful more troops, nothing.

I've just woke up anyway after 11 hours or so and been back on to find it was still the same. I've trained a handful of miners and a single researcher and it's jumped drastically to where it should be at 32k p/t.

Why is the game not calculating this properly straight away?

Same rules as Ascended achievements - if it doesn't register the first time, refresh, retry, and do it again. Probably would have been fine if you trained a single new miner or priest.

Will have a look to remedy this for future situations, later this weekend.
