I much prefer King's earlier works. Carrie, Christine, Salem's Lot, etc. Cujo is my favorite to read for laughs, because Mr. King does not remember a thing about writing it.
I personally have a vendetta against reading The Dark Tower Series. I flat-out refuse to touch it (which is quite rare for me).
