Posted: Wed Mar 21, 2007 7:17 pm
This is going to really short, and cut straight to the point. Follow these few simple rules, and it will make it a thousand times easier for everyone involved.
1. ALWAYS POST THE ID NUMBER, if you don't know what that is, then you shouldn't be trading.
2. Post their messenger address whether it be MSN, or AIM, or YIM, or whatever, just post it.
3. Post their forum and ingame names, if you know them.
4. Post your conversation with the alleged scammer, if you don't save your convos, you should. You should save EVERY convo you have, you never know when it might come in handy.
5. Post in DETAIL how they either scammed, or tried to scam you.
6. Post a screen shot of your broker trade with them, if you used the broker.
Everyone remember this last and very important rule.
To avoid confusion, can you PLEASE pm a MOD if a dispute is resolved to satisfaction. Many threads are posted here due to a misunderstanding and are often resolved, but the threads stay on here and cast a doubt on innocent parties.
