12th Game Birthday

We made it to 12 years of continuous GateWars!

Just imagine, we are almost out of the Game's preadolescence. Kids who were not alive when this game started are now able to play with folks who have been here since the start of the game!

The game could not have survived this long without you, players and staff, and for that, you have our thanks.
It has been an interesting ride so far, and we trust we can continue this path for years to come. Thank you for sticking with us, with your friends, and alliances,

To celebrate this occasion, some things happened:
- Everyone(!) is eligible to pick up a complimentary 12$ Game Birthday Celebration gift on the Black Market!
- The 'red title' awarded to accounts older than 3 years now has competition: a 'blue title' marks those accounts who have reached the 12 year mark.
- Black Market rates have been slightly adjusted.

ps. Our birthday is February 1st. (By administrative ruling, Psi predates the game.)

Happy birthday Gatewars! Congrats on it lasting so long and influencing so many of our lives.

I'd give my thanks to the administration for the hard work over the years and to everyone who's played this game, past or present for having their little bit of the story. That includes my enemies who have kept me here fighting for so long.
