I've won 6 of the last 8 weeks, forgot to play one and lost one.

I have never one, will buy a ticket this week and see what happens, i am also curious

It is a random draw among the people who bought tickets, chance to win is equal to your % of total tickets bought. As Flint says, 'a ticket' is unlikely to win you the lottery.
